Well stated, the people that can buy this RC are older drivers, who enjoy luxury combined with some sportiness. RC's are reliable and maintain value, whereas some other cars like Benz's or BMW's have high repair bills later in the year and depreciate more. The Flare Yellow exterior color was a special order with an extra $600 that caught the eye of the public to be sportier than luxury.

I just bought my Lexus RC 350 F sport 2019, im inlove with this car. It drives smooth, sexy and realible. For me its fast enough for daily drive.

I agree I’d buy it as well. Except skip the AWD and you get the much better 8 speed auto, save weight and have a better suspension setup.

I have an RC-350 F Sport in the sparkling Molten Orange metalflake color, fitted with LC500 20" wheels. The car turns heads and I get compliments on it every time I take it out.

From an ex owner of a 2015 IS350 FS I really like this car but I think it's too expensive optioned like this. Lots of competition in the $60,000+ territory.

Agreed. I love the look of the coupe but omg so much more money.. I jus got a 2022 is 350 fs awd with 15k miles for under 40k... the rc would of been close to 70 with the same options =/

So hoping the RC sticks around for another year, particularly the 300. The FSport too costly and for me, I don’t need all that power. For a daily drivers car, just the RC300 please. Thanks for the review. Luv the gray and the wheels. Not a fan of the auto stop/start - had that on my last car and turned it off. The vented seats are great on those hot days.

Great review. I just gave back my 2019 RC 350 F-Sport lease. Loved the car. But you would think Lexus would've done a major redesign by now. Is it because these type of cars are on their way out? I'm in a 2022 RCF now and truly hope they don't discontinue this.

Love Lexus and big fan of the RC, but even in todays crazy car prices, 60k+ for this car is ridiculous. It’s gone up by 20k+ in the last few years and not much has been added.

20k in about 10 years is around 30% which is industry average for all vehicles/brands.

Its interesting how the Japanese are really making this "duo tone" or "bi tone" Or what ever they call it their own. I love this design, its aged very well. I bought an LC over an RCF but still a great car.

I love the "old" infotainment system on my LC too. Ppl rag on the track pad but i prefer it over the touch screen cause my finger always hits its mark w/ the haptic feedback i don't need to look at the screen where when i get the new lexus loaners w/ touch i have to focus on the screen missing my mark cause my finger bounces around. Meanwhile everyone hates it and loves the touch screen. Did i miss something?

5 out of 5 power train? considering you can get cars with much more power in the same segment I question this.. M440i comes to mind..... Its a great quality car though, I have looked at them and dont fit as Im too tall..

The engine is a legend. Capable of doing good performance and beeing hypermiled over 300'000. The M440i will not top that. You can't base a powertrain evaluation on sole power alone. It would be a rookie mistake.

Nice review although RC is not based on IS. The front structure is based on GS, the sides (re enforcements) from ISC and the rear is IS based.

Correct. The front suspension and underpinnings are from the GS, the floor from previous gen IS and rear chassis from current IS. At the end of the day, architecturally with powertrain, interior, electronics = it's mostly IS. IS and GS are both from the same modular New N platform family so six or a half dozen. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_N_platform

The RC is still a very attractive/reliable proposition. It has really improved over time. However, at that price, I'd be considering a used LC at this point. If Lexus makes another generation of the RC. Then it should share engines, and if possible a platform (albeit stretched) with the Supra/Z4. That would be a solid start.

I imagined that as well, however if nissan was able to do get around that issue in the past with the 370z/G37 and the Q60/400z I'm sure that Toyota could do the same with upcoming Lexus RC. I doubt that Toyota would want to place the RC on its own platform because that would be far too exspensive to finance. In fact the current RC has a Frankenstein style platform. The front end is from the Lexus GS, middle Lexus IS C, and Back end current Lexus IS sedan. I'm also a huge fan of coupes & Lexus Models so I'll definitely check out your channel.

@@SergCarReviews I concur, the NA v8 powered RC-F is defintely a snooze compared to its rivals. Let's hope that the next gen RC gets that twin turbo V6 so it can really be competitive. Also I did watch your GS vs ES video and it was pretty good and comprehensive. It's interesting as well bc out in here the US it appears our buyers prefer the affordability of the front wheel drive ES vs the alleged performance of the rear wheel & (if so equipped) all wheel drive GS.

That 0-60 can’t be right man, my 23 civic sport has a similar 0-60 and I have 2 less cylinders lol I’m not saying you’re wrong it’s jus like I don’t believe it yano

It's not a scientific trap test. Real world acceleration always varies due to things like temperature, air density (elevation), AC is on, the AWD makes it a heavy slower car than the RWD version etc. None the less, our result is not that far off from what the factory states for this model.

The black hood only detracts from the car’s look, not helping. Plus that awful front wheel gap makes it a no go.
