I test drove the Touring, even the base model shares the same luxury ride quality as the more expensive trim. Very nice price tag for this much of a car, sure beats other luxury European in this price bracket.

I have the Air GT, your review of this model is spot on for the most part. I found that some of the points are really person preference. Carplay display size...IMO this is just a whine. It functions and interfaces with the phone without issue. The more important thing to be critial on is the center console and the design choices made, with the cup holders, wireless charger, and USB position....all terrible. I find the complaint about the A pillars also to be a personal preference. I didn't even notice this until reviewers started to whine about it. In fact my F350 has larger A pillars than the Air GT. Every single person that I have had in the car, not one person mentions it, and when I bring it up, they brush it off as no biggie. I think you nailed the whole accelleration part of the review, most reviewers get this part wrong. I wasn't aware that the this model or even the Pure had reduced high capacity charge limits on them. This seems like an odd choice for Lucid to do, considering the prices of these models are not cheap either. Good Luck.

With regard to the Model S preference for storage because it's a hatchback: hatchbacks and SUVs overestimate actual usable cargo space because their volumes assume you're packing them to the roof. Since that will block your rear visibility and will almost certainly be unsecured loads, people almost never actually utilize the full volume to the roof. Calculating actual real world usable space gives the Lucid an even larger advantage. We've gone on three trips down California in ours and literally never put anything in the actual trunk. The frunk is enough for a family trip

Honestly, it seems like this would be a cool looking car but not fun to drive, instant dealbreaker. I need the visibility.

Lucid air, if someone gave me, I would not risk getting broke down somewhere, lol, or be out of power

I saw a base Air the other day and it looked so cheap and mundane. I know it’s nice, but it does absolutely nothing for me.
