Brand new to archery, just got my first mathews v3x 33. Been a rifle hunter my whole life and finally took the plunge! It's been great!

Very new to archery. Like less than a year. I shoot a diamond bow. I started watching your videos and you have taught me a lot. I now know all the lingo, thanks for all your help and videos. I realize now I need a new bow

Was wondering to see what Mathews was gonna drop after what all the other brands did. Never shot a Mathews before I’m a PSE guy myself but looking and comparing to what everyone else just dropped this bow looks the most interesting. I’d like to head in to a pro shop just to see how that feels man. Awesome vids, probably one of the content creators that my friends and I are influenced by the most, keep on keepin on!

I love that you look at other things rather than just repeating specs. The reflex is something almost no one else talks about.

I was a Hoyt shooter for years but last season I picked up a V3X 29 and I cannot imagine ever going back! Mathew’s nailed it with that platform! It’s so dead in the hands, quite and outright buttery smooth to shoot! Just when I thought that Mathew’s had created the pinnacle of hunting bows, this comes out and makes me want to run back to my local bow guru headquarters! Great video and great bow!

While other companies are trying to make bows with vastly different cosmetics to try to upsell you every year, Mathews is about building on a proven platform to further refine toward perfection. Great video MFJJ. Love what you do as your content makes me a better archer!

I’m new to archery and bow hunting. Also new to your channel. Just bought a used bow from a friend and I’m going through the process of learning on my own. Thanks for the videos and reviews. Quality content is always helpful.

Two days ago I was at the range and it was just myself and one other guy he was at the opposite end of the ready line which was a good 40 yards away he was firing diagonal across the range practicing quartering shots, the angle that he was shooting really allowed me to here the snap of what ever bow he was shooting and the the whistle of what ever vein he was using, I immediately realized thought that any deer, elk etc. would jump that sound, so if this new limb system is that quiet it is probably the most important advancement to the archery hunting world in a very longtime.

This bow is the best thing I've seen the 8 limb system is crazy and no vibration. Me personally I like the Ridge lock stabilizer it's the coolest thing I've seen on a bow. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the vids. In my tree stand in northern PA, in the teens, wind switched and a shooter 8 pt busted me at 5 yds before I could draw my old switchback back. Venting frustrations by watching some reviews.

That bow seems awesome! I always had old hand me downs from my dad that i shoot and killed stuff with. Then i got a VXR when they cam out and love it! To see the improvement it has made from that already a insane. Awesome videos man i always watch! Have a good one man!

so there I was needing a limb tampon on my v3x and scratching my head about how much more centered I could get my stabilizer...... and November 15, 2022 dropped a bomb in my lap. It answered all the needs to my v3x while also giving me a super expensive back bar and bracket that I will no doubt need with all the new streamlined accessories centering the weight with the riser. I started speaking in tongues with excitement! (but seriously Mathews does some really cool shit to keep it exciting and innovative).

"So it's a V3X with slight improvements? I'll stick with my Halon" - Some guy who shoots the day before season to check his zero. I'm pumped about the new Phase 4 and love the direction Mathews is going with a full rock solid system.

Great job on the video I found you on You tube You look like the guy who got me started in Archery Stan H and Bud B. They have both passed away and my son was of to war in Iraq so i just feel away from it. But your videos have sparked my interest and 11 grandkids coming up The 3 oldest are shooting bows and taking Bear and Deer now they want to do Elk I will be getting all of the things i need to rebuild me a shop for Archery again. Josh, this is a bow that a real beginner can pick up, grasp, pull and shoot with the confidence inspired by some mighty fine archery science and trickery. This is a bow for me, I can almost feel the inner circle Hunter in me lurking around around some hardwoods waiting for a distant gobbler to let me he’s ok with coming to dinner with me. Of course free makes it better and being assembled by you is an added bonus, but hey, just send it to me Johnny Cash style, “one piece at a time” and I’ll build the darn thing! Worked in a shop for years and Mathews was always the bread and butter to keep the lights on. Still holding on to my VXR 31.5 but feeling like Phase4 33 will be a nice upgrade.

I'm a broke college student who enjoys bow hunting whitetail in my home state of Michigan. I got into archery at a young age with an old hand-me-down bow from my dad. In 2020 I went to the local archery shop and spent way more money than I could afford at the time and bought my first new bow. I went with the Hoyt Axius Ultra, as it was the most comfortable for me. About a month ago I stopped into the same shop and shot the Phase 4... Now that's all I think about... Great content. Keep it up!

As a noob to archery and hunting, your content is so valuable to me. You and Dan make it accessible for anyone; I am so grateful. And while these bows are an order or magnitude out of my price range, I love tracking with the latest innovations and will keep stashing my pennies to cash in one day. Never stop my guys.

Mathews engineers are so advanced the competition doesn’t stand a chance! Just to put things in perspective, if Mathews engineers were into space exploration we would already living in other space destinations!!!! The people from the other bow manufacturers would just sit and cry because they couldn’t even get their rockets into the sky! Mathews engineers are lighting up the way while everyone else is watching light years away! Others may try to catch them but as there slogan rings from the past “catch us if you can”! Great information about these bows. Everyone thinks that Mathews has to reinvent the bow every year. Instead they just make it better and more badass. Prices may have gone up but so has everything. I’d love to rock one of these for my next hunt

Love these reviews! I had always shot a Hoyt for years and then tried the V3X 33. Immediately fell in love with it. By far the best bow I’ve ever owned! Can’t wait to test this new bow once it hits my local shop. MFJJ is the best! I’ve learned so much from his videos that’s I can do all my bow tuning by myself now! Love the man cave also! Had Hoyt forever. Finally gave Mathews a shot with the V3X. Love what they did with the new Phase 4. However, I do believe they need to produce a cam equal to the new Hoyt. With a newer cam and the other additions with Phase 4, they will own the market.

Great videos and information MFJJ!! Every year I wonder if Mathews and pretty much every other major bow manufacturers will reach the pinnacle of bow design. But the next year rolls around and BAM, something new and improved is released! MFJJ, you and the Elk Shape boys keep it up. Wish y’all were closer to me so I could come to the shop. My part of Texas doesn’t have any place like y’all’s. I have to rely on your videos. 👍🏼

Keep going back to my local shop up here in Fairbanks, AK (Screaming Eagle) to sling some arrows out of it. I have a V3X 33 already…but could always use a twin brother with some extra trinkets! I’ve seen a lot of folks questioning the longevity of the rubber damper and how well it holds up in the cold. I’ve emailed Mathews and they responded that IF there is a problem with the RPD, it will be covered under their outstanding warranty. As for the other part of the cold…well we were talking about doing an experiment when our temps get down to -30/-40 degrees. Leaving it outside overnight in his truck in those temps and slinging some arrows. I’ll be sure to video when that happens. 🥶🏹
