Baumer Family Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Kevin Corrigan, senior attacker Pat Kavanagh, and senior goalie Liam Entenmann spoke with the media at a press conference following No. 3 Notre Dame’s 13-9 victory over No. 1 Duke in the championship game of the 2023 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse tournament.

Feels so right to be #1. So proud of the Fighting Irish team, coaches, and our Incredible Fans!! Sounded like a Home Game in Philly...and it just goes to show that We are not only America's Team, but We are The World's Team. NO Sport's Franchise on the planet can claim a Larger, more International, Passionate and Loyal Fan Base than Notre Dame. And no school can lay claim to higher Academic, Athletic, and Service to Community standards than We can. Win or lose, ND is SIMPLY THE BEST!!!

The 4th Quarter will stand shoulder to shoulder with ANY Notre Dame athletic accomplishment in history. That was so incredible to watch. Down on the mat and jumped up not only swinging but swinging with effect! Amazing job both on the field - of course - but off the field with coaching and preparation. Well done lads! Well done.

Pat with the net hanging off his hat. He's at the top of the world. Entenmann basically just said, "No, Duke, you aren't winning this game." Lol. This was such a great game to watch.

@@SA-nn3so no way. Pat was busted and battered he was limping the whole game and basically didn't do anything. Penn State would have won in my opinion.
