​@@rondg2 Not totally B.S but I get what you mean. But here's what happen, when you are faster, with this car, you release the pedal a little bit more and can have more regenerative breaking. In my experience, driving at 40km/h vs at 70km/h , the results is kinda what he is saying. I get 18-21km/l at lower speed, and for some reason, 24-36km/l at the higher speed. Now there are a lot things in play, like I mentioned, most likely at faster speed you kinda sustain the regenerative breaking longer, which increase the fuel economy. A lot of times it is, but road conditions, and driving also is part of the equation. It's not automatic that you get higher Fuel effeciency, but most of the time, yes. So it's kinda a yes and no, speed has nothing to do with it, but rather the driving habits at a certain speed do changes.

you don't need to test at that steep driveway. kicks has lots of torque, the acceleration numbers prove it, so it WILL climb for sure. i.e. if it accelerates faster than most cars on level ground then it'll also accelerate up that ramp faster than most cars

Tank is at 41L. Battery is 2.13kWh. You could more or less compute the range based on the fuel economy figures given in the video :D

I did a real world test. So 15.4Km/L x 41L fuel tank makes it 631.4Km in heavy city traffic :D

​​@@johnbrotata391 yes if you mean cars like Tesla, yes their battery life span is way longer, true. Kicks you could say it's 8 years. That's their guaranteed warranty. But based on the leaf since It's the same, you still have leafs running till today. However, one thing to note, the charge and discharge, is being overstated. Cars lithium battery is not the same as your average lithium battery in consumer devices. They are a very different kind of battery and not comparable if that's the basis. Now consider infrastructure, that range anxiety is a problem. Then how fast cars update tech? You are really looking at 5-10 years of every modern car that owners will replace them. I mean majority of 2012 Tesla owners already replaced their car with a newer Tesla model. But then again a hybrid vs EV comparison is just apples to oranges.
