This is what annoys me with some manufacturers, not just with this make/model. Don't get me wrong, this looks good and many manufacturers do a good job of making them "look at me" cosmetic changes! However, if manufacturers insist on calling this "sport" don't just add cosmetic changes, put the changes where it counts; suspension tuning and higher engine output! Yes it'll be more expensive, but people who can afford it will buy it, no matter the cost!

It's prolly because Mitsubishi already has Monterosport "black" series. These 2 brands are part of an alliance in which they share most of their products underpinnings, so if Nissan named it "black" series as well, it just doesn't scream originality on their side. Also, when manufacturers are giving their product the "black" or "sports" treatment, it is likely that a new version of their products are about to come out, and they are just doing everything to sell most of the remaining products that are about to be replaced.

@@PotatoePeeler I almost forgot about that since both Nissan and Mitsubishi will be using one platform for their PPVs either later this year or early next year we will be seeing an all new PPV from Nissan and Mitsubishi. Since Mitsubishi has already displayed concept for the next Strada which you can actually see hints of the Navara. So for now they are just "spicing" their lineup with black out bits and whatever small changes they can for marketing.

Driven the Terra for two years and Everest limited for a year. The driving comfort and ease of use and reliability are great on the Terra. Had issues with the instrumentation which had gliches but the auto openning tailgate is a plus plus the chairs were more comfortable. After driving the Everest for 300kms it leaves you head exhausted as it shakes your brain the wrong way. On a practical level the Terra gets my vote.

With a not so insubstantial price, Nissan engineers definitely should have included a telescopic steering wheel as part of the design. With an additional charge, you're still stuck with a tilt only steering wheel. Maybe it's part of an advance April Fools thingamajig from Nissan.

I can attest that Nissan gravity seats is awesome, I have a '23 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X which I have taken it on roadtrips from Vegas to Utah/Cali and I don't feel fatigue from driving.

just bought the galaxy black, Im just disappointed kasi lumiit yung headunit nila. I paid 30% DP for VL then after a week once I pay in full makuha kk na unit. kaso after few days sabi sports version na lang meron, no other choice. but so far Im still happy sa ride nya super komportable. 17 inch wheels really fit this vehicle super komportable ng ride.

Kapag naka side view parang the fortuner 2015-16 model. Sana yung tail lights eh mas ginawang singkit para aggressive tignan and sporty and the emblem nissan nalang nilagay hindi na yung terra. Pero all in all ok naman i will rate this 8 out of 10 then the rest is for the improvement in the future. Comparing this sa New 2023 Montero Sport black edition, montero ako.

I have a neighbor who replaced his everest with the latest top of the line Nissan Terra since it will take 6 months before you can order for the everest. He says he made the biggest mistake buying the Nissan. Their ride, comfort, tech and engine noise are not comparable. Everest WINS!

Same scenario, we replaced everest titanium to terra sports. The 3rd row of terra its not comfortable to sit. And the steering, it is not electronic power steering. We regret it. Everest still best.

Sure but who will be laughing in the next few years when it comes to reliability. Not saying the everest is a bad choice, it just that fords aren't known for their long lasting parts, especially the sensors.

anong it is still 8 inch? pina reserve kong VL 9 inches yung headunit. after giving 30% DP after 1 week sabi sports na lang available. no other choice. kinuha ko na tong sports na VL 4X2..

i like the new territory with its drl located above the headlights unlike the previous model where drl looks cheap. overall design is much better than previous, and its good they maintained base price below 1.4M Pesos😁

The brochure of the terra sport mentioned that the infotainment screen is an inch smaller compared to the non sport variant. Makes me think that the non sport variant is much better value wise

Montero GLS 2023 is cheaper and way better than Fortuner & Terra entry level. Montero is worth the price AND PARTS are ALWAYS available.

They're losing the PPV competition so they felt that they need to come up with something new. Management be like: Since we can't/won't update the Terra substantially, let's just release a diff color scheme and call it something else to fool our Nissan-loyalistas. 🙃 What a bunch of clowns!

Same thoughts here boss. We checked the mid-size tier and we ended up with Montero GT. Everest was really ahead when it comes to features IMHO but we chose the safe side, no so techy - less things to worry.
