Opening a Hobby Box of 2023 panini Illusions football. Each box runs between $350-$400 and promises 5 hits including 3 autos. Of course, panini doesnt really mean "promise" lol. Not a fan of this set myslef but i do know that some enjoy it. I am especially not a fan of damaged, off centered cards in an expensive football hobby box as well as small points cards that actually cost you more money to fulfill.

It’s a bummer, cause I think Illusions can be some of the hobby’s best and most unique looking cards when done right. I just bought an Illusions 2021 Frank Gore Game-Worn Patch Auto for only $50. Really wish Illusions and Panini in general still did cool stuff like that

I’ve had insane luck with them so far. I’ve gotten two boxes and both I’ve probably came close to making my money back. First box was 2 numbered CJ Strouds one being a duel chunky patch with Drew Brees out of 50. Also pulled a holo heroes Jared Goff. Second box I ended up pulling an Anthony Richardson rookie endorsement auto out of 99. On top of that both boxes had SEVEN hits in them

That's actually thec1st points card I've seen come from one of these so far. Seemed pretty decent to me. Unless it does become a regularity. Eddy- you have NO clue what you're wishing for though. All Fanatics has so far is baseball and they've screwed that up several times already PLUS, they're already involved in a ton of scandals. Backdooring products, loaded boxes, etc...etc... What we need is for Panini, Topps, Leaf & Upper Deck to ALL be licensed and then let us TRUE collectors, not the deep pocketed covid invaders, decide what we prefer. That Sinus Infection has been going around the Tempe/Mesa area for about 6 months. I work at WinCo in Mesa and our store has had it going rounds since November. I had it a couple weeks ago. Got rid of the main symptoms. However the sinus congestion never left. I've been on antibiotics and decongestants for months.

Gotta say that I was really looking forward to Illusions for a few weeks. I got myself a box on release day and I enjoyed the rip and I feel like I had a deece box. Since then I have been watching a lot of Illusions rips and I gotta say that I lucked out. I've seen panini points left and right along with really strange mem cards and weird autos. Also I've noticed that that acetate cards are some of the most worst conditioned ones I have seen and I find that disappointing as I think those cards look really cool. I got a base Aaron Rodgers acetate (king of cards I believe) and it was all jacked up on the back. All this has been so disappointing that I am probably going to stick with Topps and Bowman stuff until Fanatics fully takes over and I hope that that is sooner than later.

I hope when Fanatics takes over they don't have a series 1, 2 and update like they do in baseball. I can tell you having ripped a couple of Hobby Jumbo boxes that those things are worse than any Panini product. I think Fanatics has a better product at the moment but it's questionable what they will do when they have a monopoly
