Thanks! I'm still trying to refine my camerawork a bit, so hopefully, future videos are more fluid.

I think you guys did a great job. There's a truck I couldn't hear in a car because of wind but like you said forgot to microphone that's okay I didn't have to travel several hours just to go and see a few cars. Although it would have been fun. I believe it was a 62 Impala station wagon or at least a 62 wagon anyway I can catch price she said you got to do for must have missed it. $50,000 for that box body Chevy truck. I've got a 73 copper and cream California edition is what they called it Chevy Cheyenne bucket seats and console. 72 it would have been CST. Now I need some work no more rest on it than it had in 85 when I bought it. 15000 bucks. Set up for me and I'll make a donation to your channel. I'm not joking. I'm the guy that kept buying and buying and buying and now I'm looking at how much I got on the rest of my life thinking I'm not going to do all these. You got the idea. But any case the most enjoyable part is seeing you and your two sons interact. I'm assuming they're both around 16 plus and minus a little bit and those days have slipped away from me. Enjoy next couple of years however long they have until they're out of high school. But anyway that's brings back memories. Looking at cars I'll definitely agree with this 63 Impalas best-looking Impala the flat nose 64 always wonder why people like them as much as they used to. $3,500 for the sunliner. Extremely cheap unless prices for those and just fell out the bottom of the bucket. I've got a crestliner about the same here and it's got the overhead valve original V8. I just never got around to the guy but he offered me $5,000. I saw him, he offered me eight thousand but that was back in the mid-1990s. So nowadays equivalent money would probably be 10 to 12 thousand. Probably she got around to telling him the car then. And those are just some of the memories that came back as I look at the cars you were showing. Thank you I greatly appreciate it.

Thank you very much for the positive comments! We are very happy that a few folks like you are having fun watching these videos. We are certainly having fun making them. We are still getting a good bit of constructive criticism from other folks, which is fine. I know these videos aren't perfect. That truck you have sounds amazing. That would be one heck of a donation! When we evolve the channel into a project based channel, something like that would be a good project to do a series on. Unfortunately, for now, we are doing swap meet videos while I wait to build a workshop. Although every now and then we might film working at my fathers shop. My favorite part of the swap meet is interacting with the boys, but they always run off and leave me alone. Then I get self-conscious talking to just the camera in front of strangers! Once again, thanks for the positive comments and I'm very glad that you are liking the videos!

@@downsouthjunking8180 you're welcome. I did see the guy say point the cameras where he could see the price. He said that in the comment. But overall I thought you did a great job especially Showing contact information and the price. Well that's part of it the boys running off then come back and show you the treasures that they found or dragging you over to them. Then watching I will your oldest boy explain his story of how he could flip it for a profit. That's pure gold. Then later he says he hopes they can pay you back. That is saying now he has a goal to obtain and he wants to achieve his goals. Okay part of that is me reflecting on the past with my boys. But I believe it's a favorable comparison both ways. No I'm not trying to tell you how your boys are acting and how you should react nothing like that and you're saying thanks for the reminder of memories of those approximate ages. Just to be sure of what I was saying about that box body 1973 Chevy truck of mine. I'm offering a finder's fee based upon getting my price of getting 15,000 out of the truck. But I would pay a percentage finder's fee on any of my vehicles based upon me getting my price. The same percentage that and the people would pay me if I found a vehicle for them. A lot of times I just threw out the information for free if I know there's something at that persons looking for. But if I actively go out and obtain that vehicle for them and they pay me a percentage. Now I'm not doing that as much as I had been. Because I wanted to stay off the road for a while so I started doing other things. Nobody gets rich messing with old cars. They get rewarded but it's never the lottery. By-the-way paying for things like college and having plans together after they finish college is always nice. One son during his teenage years was into 57 Chevys. I have a son right now that's into Volkswagen bugs. You could buy a bug in California and take it to that swap meet and make a couple thousand dollars minus expenses if they are actually bringing that kind of money like the orange bug. I know Texas has a more robust economy than most States. But I feel that the economy is slowing down affecting prices on most cars and trucks. Some guys actually use a metal pipe frame with a white tent thing over it like what you can buy a harbor freight and that's their KZfaq shop. Just throwing out ideas. Okay just got read along but I thank you for the response and reply. I know where there's a number tri-five Chevy cars and some old trucks and even Mopar. Parts cars and builders. Glad to share the information when you get to that point of building.

I see what you are saying now. A lot of people make some good money off of helping folks sell cars. Chevy c-10s are hot right now, so there should be no shortage of buyers for one with almost no rust! Part of making these videos is to kind of document these moments with my boys and to also document what swap meets were like at this moment in time. I want it to be something we can come back and watch 20 years later and reminisce from the family angle, and from the car culture in the early 2020s angle. Althoughthe ultimate goal of the channel is to be us working on projects and doing road trips, etc.. I have thought about using a temporary garage but the weather here can get rough. Thanks again for watching and commenting. Hopefully we can grow the channel into something you and our other early fans continue to enjoy!

If you watch some of our Junkyard videos you can see if any of them have 53 Fords. We were just at Browne Auto Salvage in Sunset, TX and there were 3,500 rust free cars. A good chance that place has what you are looking for. That video will be up in a week or two.

Which vendor are you asking about? If it's a large national vendor they usually have a list of swap meets that they are attending on their website.
