Tyres : Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2
Suspension : Sport mode

Les vitesses de passage en courbe dans la dernière partie avec moins de trafic... On ne s'en rend pas compte en vidéo mais quand on regarde le compteur... Impressionnant !!

If Porsche gave all the attention they give to the ass heavy 911 to the mid-engine Boxster / Cayman platform no doubt it would surpass the 911. They can't of course because they're in too deep with the 911 myth and 911 enthusiast would have a mental breakdown.

They are starting to break away from that a little bit. My GTS 4.0 is better than any entry 992 sans the 911s own GTS. That would be unheard of just a few years ago!

Comme toujours : On met un mec dans une Porsche et on met Matthieu dans autre chose. Qui gagne toujours ? Quelle évolution de la part de Porsche. Partis des premiers Cayman (que je ne trouvais vraiment pas "intéressant"), cette voiture est en passe de devenir iconique en peu de temps. Alors 911 992 GT3 ou 718 GT4 RS ? Perso : 718 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Very nice.....did you try with PDK in Auto and traction/stability ON? With the pdk in sport it would have been a bit more aggressive in some corners. Saw Loss of tractions in some sections/corners and on the ring the safety net of the nannies is not bad. Porsche GT cars TC and stability systems are probably some of the best with ver little intrusion. Also, the suspension in normal mode was tuned for the ring. Sport mode may be too much and more for a GP circuit, hence more traction loss.....just my 2 cents from my experience with GT4s but really liked the video.

Only PDK manual (I prefer) & ESC/TC off (too much intervention on the Nürburgring where wheels are often in "the air"). Suspension had to be in Sport mode as well. Normal is too soft, even on this track.

Hard to have a proper laptime during touristenfahrten but our best BTG was 7'21 with the GT4 RS and 7'15 with the GT3

Quand je vois la taille de la Porsche blanche devant (992 GT3), je reste toujours déçus qu'une voiture de sport est généralement à avant tout une voiture de luxe. "Light is right", sur circuit et en dehors. Belle video :)

I said this months ago.. the Cayman GT4 is FASTER around the ring than the GT3 but Porsche will NEVER admit to it. I get it, it's all about money so why would you discredit the more expensive model for the "budget king" of sports cars. This guy's videos finally proved my argument...

GT4 RS is a more expensive car in the real world. You need to be Porsche's VIP customer just to have an allocation which drive the price higher than GT3.

Not so fast. I am lucky enough to have a GT4RS being built this week in the factory but even I accept the GT3 is quicker around Nurburing because of its new front end geometry, not the test driver chosen. Both cars have the same 0-100 time and on that basis I am more than happy to save a lot of money buying a standard GT4RS over a GT3. And the GT3 doesnt have the insane induction noise.

We have driven both on Nürburgring : 911 remains a little bit faster and easier in curves than the Cayman. No difference in straight lines because surprisingly, the GT4 RS is just 20 kg lighter than 992 GT3 according to Porsche... and heavier in reality !

@@largus v good fback, ty! I personally waiting for 992.2 gt3, despite being able to get gt4 rs allocation.. have no idea am I doing a mistake here, but for some reason I like gt3 back end more.. noise is insane, but one journalist told me its max 2h of driving before you get tired of noise :)

C’est horrible ce bruit sur la plage 7 a 8.000 tours et surtout en fond de 9.000 y a une vibration métallique c’est dû à quoi ? Le fap ??? On en retrouve pas le bruit rageur aigüe 😢 J’aurais aimé l’entendre à 3.000 tours s’il y a toujours ce feulement. Pourtant ce 4.0 est magique ça me fait penser à la boxster lorsqu’elle était passée du 3.2 au 3.4…

C'est la boîte à air en carbone qui est placé à côté des oreilles et qui donne ce bruit d'induction si caractéristique Et je trouve que ca sonne super bien C'est différent d'une 911 GT3 mais c'est tout aussi bien
