Jack needs to go. Insulting Dave Goggins for way too long yesterday, telling Rinny she’s not the same caliber as Taylor, acting as if Gentle was the only person in the race, making bad calls, calling the women “girls” and never women. I could go on!

None of the commentators were good, a 14 year old on the Internet would probably have something better to say. But, maybe it is impossible to commentate when apparently they have no idea what is happening in the race because they only have one camera following one person the whole time. No stats, no lap times, pretty bad.

Can jack never be on the mic again? From disparaging US triathletes, saying KB only does it for the money and equating this being akin to winning 5 world titles for Jan is disgraceful.

Why are people so easily offended nowadays. Just because you don’t agree with him doesn’t mean he should be out of the mic. Yes, he has strong opinions but that’s what makes him a good interviewer and commentator, he also noticed lots of things other commentators usually miss, if we get rid of everyone with whom we don’t agree with, the world would be pretty boring. Cheer up and enjoy the race 😊

He was very annoying yesterday. Today it seems he is more reasonable. Pretty sure he read the comments on the men's live.

@@WILDFOXRUNNING I’m not offended, just asking for better quality commentators. He was extremely annoying during the men’s race and detracted from the footage.

Why pay people to commentate if they aren't adding anything to the enjoyment of watching the race, a static cam of the finish line would have been better.

Really wanted to watch this, but I am not sure what they are thinking with the coverage and the commentary. I think I would prefer watching a static cam at the finish line than listen to people say the same thing 50 times while totally ignoring most of the race. What's that? Knibb is an underrated runner? People just think of her as a cyclist but she is actually good at other stuff too? Please tell me about it 12 times because you don't have anything else to say. I think the guy announcing the race for the live fans seemed to be more interesting to listen to. They don't tell you who's in forth, they don't give you the lap times, why are they even paying all these people to be there when the camera cuts and all they say is "I am not sure what we are seeing here."

Great coverage and love what the PTO is doing for the sport. That being said, the guys got pretty annoying to listen to 3.5 hrs of Ash Gentle worship. Give it a rest and give the other ladies some coverage. We almost had to mute it for a while because it got so obnoxious.

Thank you, it is like the producers gave them a page of talking points and they forced them to talk for three hours. Maybe don't pay people to commentate if they don't have anything to say or have the cameras show something other than one person.
