When the RG3 came out, I was on the phone with CD for a few hours going over their products that work and didn’t work with this model. At the time, no vendors knew about the RG3. When I ordered my parts, they threw in some swag. I’ve ran Custom Dynamics for years on my other bikes and will continue to in the I foreseeable future. Wish I had them as a sponsor!!

It’s actually located just behind the rear suspension adjuster under the passenger area.

Thanks for commenting! You’ll see what HD says is MSRP + $2750 in freight, surcharge and CA emmisons. Also, depending on paint/trim there’s another bump. So roughly after that you’re around $36-$37k. Dealerships have front end costs. Prep fees and any other costs associated with getting the unit on the floor. So if you can be out the door around $42k, you’re in the ballpark. Front end costs can be negotiated. But if the dealer is tacking on $5k just because, that’s not cool and not what HD wants. It took me 4 days to get the deal. On the last day of the month. Good bargaining tool. They need to show sales monthly to HD. FYI

I was/am very interested in the RG3, until the dealer I talked to told me to expect another $4k bump over MSRP not including the regular dealer pricing like freight and paperwork fees. Then of course they try and stick you on your trade(s) It turns me off to be honest.

@@luvmybeemer the buying experience now a days has had a shock and awe feel to it. It is crazy that we can’t have a genuine heart to heart deal go down that is good for both parties involved. It’s a shame you’ve had, as others have had, this bad situation happen. My suggestion is to find another dealership, let them know what happened at this one, and see if they support you more into it becoming a more enjoyable process. Man, I hate hearing this so much nowadays. Customer first should be the moto, but that has become extinct. I wish you all my best to find a good deal and to be treated with respect and admiration. 👊🏼😎

@@donniewieburg believe me, I don’t mind traveling to find the right deal. I found a dealer who was willing to sell me at MSRP but wanted to hurt me on my trade. So of course I tell him that’s not going to work. The other dealer was willing to give me a fair price on my trade, but he’s the guy who told me they charge $4k above MSRP. So the deal isn’t fair in the long run for me.
