Space Mountain travels upwards of 35 miles per hour and is one of the most efficient roller coasters Disney has ever built! Space Mountain is a very fun ride for the entire attraction and should be experienced when traveling to Disneyland.

LMG, this is the best Space Mountain video by far that I have ever seen. The last Space Mountain video of yours that was really good was May of 2021, but this one is better! There is no image noise when you're inside. You can see the Stars clear without any noise image disruption. The video looks like you had HDR on.

As far as roller coasters go, this one is pretty tame. Similar in thrill level to I would say Big Thunder Mountain if you have ever rode that ride. You feel like you are going faster than you actually are because its dark but there are no huge drops and the ride never goes upside down or anything.

I’ve been asking that question too. I liked it when it was flashing rapidly. Also, you may not believe me but the red lights in the loading zone, when they pulse 3 times on the last pulse, to me it’s a little delayed before slowly turning off but that’s just my opinion Last time I rode it, the red lights pulsed 3 times and slowly turned off without that delay but the blue light tunnel was not working.

I believe the reason they turned off the top portion of the lights and added the slow-movement effect instead of the flashing-spontaneous effect is to keep it friendly for those who have epilepsy. Not sure if it’s true, but I wouldn’t expect the cool looking flash/strobe lighting to comeback.

Even more are out now and more vocals are missing! There should be lights all throughout that tunnel and on top. It looks really half ass…

They really need to fix the lights in the first tunnel. Eventually it’s gonna get to the point where it’s just darkness if they don’t do anything about it

Ya, it’s getting worse by the days, that tunnel hasn’t been fully functional since like the early days of new space mountain.

When I watched this video, the red lights in the loading zone before the ride begins when they pulse 3 times, on the 3rd and final pulse, they become a little delayed ( meaning they stayed on a little longer ) before slowly turning off. When I rode it the last time which was in 2018, the red lights flashed/pulsed 3 times and slowly turned off without delay. But, the blue light tunnel was not working only the sound was.

The little things are important things and the park would rather just refurb Splash Mountain instead of just fixing lights on another (more important) attraction imo!

Yeah, those are sounds from the tracks. They are very noticeable when the trains are making turns.

That never used to be there and should be a concern! I would address this with the park maintenance. If it derails or something, there will be lawsuits.

@@stephenn77 This is nowhere near derailment, this is Disney you're talking about after all, its just friction from the track on hard turns, it has been getting worse recently, but it isn't as noticeable in person except for 6:42.

Update, went on it today, the sound is completely gone except for that one really fast turn ~20-30 seconds in.

Very nice but wish the blue light tunnel was flashing rapidly. Also, I’m not sure if I’m seeing it right but the red lights at the loading zone before the ride begins, I saw them pulse 3 times and then turn off. But on the third pulse they delayed by staying on a little longer before slowly turning off. It’s at that 5:01 mark when I saw it. I was wondering if that is a malfunction or they changed the lights sequence. I recall the last time I rode space mountain was back in 2018 when the red lights pulsated 3 times and immediately and slowly turning off without delay also the blue light tunnel was not working so it was dark but the sounds were still working.

Yeah, that’s the first thing I noticed when the train was going up on the last hill. The Stars had a blue saturation.

They do that a few times, one time it even happened while I was still in line! You should look up “space mountain lights on”, it’s super interesting to see all that’s hiding in the dark

oof sounds like a couple bearings are going out, sounds like first car left side of the front bougie, possibly the front right, without spatial audio its hard to tell, but the squealing is not normal.

Even more lights are out in the power tunnel and audio is missing! Come on Disney!! WOW…. That track noise does not sound good! MAINTAIN YOUR RIDES DISNEY!! If that coaster derails or breaks down it would not be good!

This is Sad That Space Mountain is the Worst Shape I 've Ever seen since 2011 broken light effects speakers blown out . I love riding Space Mountain I miss riding since the Move out of Long Beach Ca. California is getting worse to live in because of the power and money hungry politicians ruined it. I am also sad and glad that I am not a annual passholder it's not the same since the pandemic Disney company is not what it was once was. Disney return to the roots that made you great in the first place no wokeness if you follow these tips you money will be flowing like a river of money like never before. Also as California Return to Faith in God, To Constitution and work for the people make California Affordable to live before most locals leave this current money pit and high crime place. Nice Video Sorry about putting politics in I must speak my mind in a truthful manner. Also Disney your place has become a money pit no longer affordable please stop standing with The LGBTQ community Walt Disney would be So Angry with you right now . Family and LGBTQ DO NOT MIX. Remove your alliance with them and remain neutral as a business should be. I love coming to your parks it's sad what this company has come.
