@@easyheimer Oh and thanks for mentioning your weight. Some folks don't realize how important that is for range and handling. I'm a short little fat forker. I weighed 280 when I started this ebike adventure. I put Shinko 244's on my Ariel Rider back then and my range dropped by at least 25%. Now I'm down to 215 pounds and my range is coming back to almost where I was at when I weighed 280. I have a 30 inch inseam and worry that I'm too short for the Talaria, but hoping to get a chance to ride one some day. Your info is on target, thanks so much.

To me, it almost looks like you have forward foot pegs, but your video never focuses down there long enough to be sure. I'd really like that configuration for the street riding I do. I'm an old(er) guy, 6' 180# ex-Harley rider, live in the mountains, and am loving this new breed of bike to keep two wheels under me. Kudos to Ebikezilla for their excellent handling and support for Talaria bikes.

Haha they aren’t forward but that’s a great idea. These bikes are excellent and I HIGHLY recommend purchasing from Ebikezilla. You will not be disappointed!

Also there is clip on gear box vent line. Its prevent oil leak during transportation. Need to be unclipped for usage, but not fully removed, so can clip back if needed. On old models no clip...

Thanks for this. I'm increasingly interested in these type of bikes particularly as they now have more road-legal versions for here in the UK. I ride a Triumph Bonneville and also have a Fiido X both of which great but this seems the perfect sweet-spot between the two (to get as well rather than replace of course!). The handling seems great with the balance between weight, torque and suspension optimised. Food for thought.

...Thanks again, 95% of Talaria videos are hauling ass racing or solo high speed on and off road. ...I think you would get a lot of viewer hits and comments with technical riding too, especially because not many riders show that on you tube. As far as the forks go, They are structurally identical to the FastAce shocks. Talaria just goes in and added adjustment nobs to make it more tunable by the user. It seem most of these changes where actually first put in to the late 2022 bikes. I received my FastAce Talaria from Ebikezilla in late August 2022, and from what I can tell, it is basically identical to this one. My Talaria is the fist I've ever sat on, so I'm not sure about the seat, but I have sat on Sur-Rons and the seat didn't feal much different angle wise.

Yep. Fork is just a tuned Fast Ace which is excellent in my opinion. Fast Ace makes a great fork.

@@easyheimer Strongest on the market. My buddy has a Sur Ron with Fox 40s on it, and they're great, but there is substantially more flex present under load. My Talaria is rock-fucking-solid with the FastAce's on it.

I have a 2022 and I am jealous of the seat mod but I do notice there's some guys that are making a kit to fix that so I'll be buying that when it comes out and I don't mean the seat lift kit I mean just the seat angle

Thank you so much! So it has to do with a new linkage setup. I’m waiting to hear back to see if you can actually buy the seat and linkage components and swap them out with the older models.

@@easyheimer I spoke with gritshift and I apparently can order the new seat but not sure about then linkage. They were saying something about more padding in the front of the seat which evens out the angle but I’m not entirely sure. Do you feel like there’s more padding in the new seat?

Being a bigger rider, it feels SO MUCH MORE comfortable than the Sur Ron in every aspect. There’s just more substance to it if you know what I mean.

..Your Video was really informative, good job. I will be buying one soon, do you think this bike would be acceptable for more technical slower speed riding somewhat like trials? (I know its not intended for trials). ..Speaking to others for this, best bet would be to go with more teeth on the rear sprocket but wondering about the bikes feel and design for this type of off road riding? ...Bob

I didn’t. It came updated from factory with the new model. I think you can send it in to where you bought it and they’ll do it for you.

How does law enforcement view something like the Talariaa Sting? Do they consider it a bicycle? Or do they consider it a dual sport motorcycle? Do you need a motorcycle license? Do you have to license and put a plate on the bike? Thanks for the great video.

To be honest, it really depends on where you are. In my town they don’t say a word to me other than wanting to find out what it is and where they can get one. I’ve seen others get pulled over, ticketed and even confiscated. Where do you live? You’re very welcome and I appreciate it.

Yeah. It’s not just the seat though. They redesigned the suspension and linkage in the back to bring it down to a lower angle.

How long is the battery life when fully charged

It really depends on a lot of things. Mostly wide open throttle we’ve been getting around 25-30 miles on a single charge. On Eco you can squeeze almost 50 miles of range but that’s lowest amount of throttle. Basically babying it.

So Fast Ace actually makes these forks for Talaria. They’re definitely more beefy and robust.

Already, I got you by a few inches but you got about 40 lbs on me. How's the braking handle to the extra weight of us? I know normies are like what....half of us hahahaha So you saying about the new bracing for the pegs....there's no need for the kaniwaba aftermarket kit? I wanted the pedal kit so I can get the pegals to mimic pedals or pegs depending on what you're doing.

I was about to buy the surron firefly lightbee l1e x but then people made look at this lil beauty i mean I honestly want this but got a few questions. I live in Austria and I dont know how this is in there cuz I just know that there are allowed up to 45 km/h I saw that you could Unlock the speed so You can drive it on like 70 km/h I mean you probably cant awnser this question but I was kinda concerned That i bought this as my first bike and can only drive it in 45 km/h. I asked my friend he said he doesnt know he just said that its possible that you can only do that in america cuz there you can do way more things without getting arrested ;) Would really appreciate if you could respond! I am pretty sure that you cant awnser this bc why would you know but It is worth a Try :-]

@@flopiii69187 are you looking to do more street riding or off-road riding? Is weight a factor (bike racks, lifting bike, etc)? Are you ok with doing oil changes every so often? Is power really important to you? Those are all questions you should answer before deciding on the Talaria. Overall, the Talaria Sting R is the best option right now but some pros and cons might persuade you to get the Sur Ron. Either or they’re both fantastic bikes.

I don’t think anything will stop the dirt from getting on our backs without it looking big, bulky and ridiculous.

@@easyheimer People want the Sur-ron/Talaria to be dirt bikes. However, they want street privileges of an mtb. I've accepted it will never be like my CRF250 and like wise will it ever be spindly like my mtb. It's a new breed, yes the best of both worlds and i prefer mine without the fenders, especially the front fender. Like you said, the fenders give it a bulky look. However, each his own...

I ended up going with the 23 Surron over the Taleria because it’s simply been around longer and the aftermarket is more abundant, but that’s not to say the taleria isn’t a good bike either.

I went with the 23 surron also for the same reasons but at times I wish I would have gone with the talaria primarily for the increased size.

Pretty much every upgrade you can get for the surron, u can for talaria now and if not they're on their way, or take simple modification, I simply went with the talaria because I'm just shy 6-foot 245 lb.. so it's a little comfier for me.. stock. even though I do plan to do lots of upgrades over the years. Also I got my sting at a locoal shop for a steel compare to the store prices on surrons in my area specially cuz there's no used market with them yet. Got my sting for 4700 + tax (5200) it was a demo 200km on it and already extra part included. Where the surrons were 5999 plus tax n a bunch random other fees for sum reason But great bikes tho not knocking the surron at all both very similar

You aren't kidding about E-DirtBike! Problem is tickets on streets... Here, thats tagged as an E-Moped, minimum but the speed is 20mph over e-mopeds... I guess just trailer it and use it like a dirtbike

@@easyheimer My G-Force T42 exceeds 'class 3' limits. And our city park trails are rated class 2, 20mph max. I just ride within the limits and take care around pedestrians. The ones with leashed dogs are worst. Once in a while, I'm ghost pedaling when passing cops on the street... lol

Out of the box without a tune, the Talaria Factory fork is the way to go. If you plan on tuning it, go with the Fast Ace.
