TCL 98" P745 4K smart-TV (2023)
Mounted on a chipboard wall.
I have mounted thousands of TVs in Oslo, Norway and the big ones are always extra fun. The VESA pattern on this one is also massive: 500X600, we brought the wrong wall mount so we had to go to the local shop and buy a huge wall mount så we could complete the work. Hei! Kan dere si litt om TV-en? Jeg vurderer denne! :) jeg er ikke så nøye på svartnivå og skal ikke brukes til hverken sport eller spill. Er denne TV-en helt ok? 😊

Hei. Den er mye mer enn helt ok. Har montert flere av disse og blir like overrasket hver gang hvor bra TV dette er. Har ingen problemer med å anbefale denne. Hilsen Stian

Hi. Everytime I mount these I go to a local swedish (!) shop in Norway to buy the wall mount, there are very few wall mount that fits this TV. This is the one from the video: www.jula.no/catalog/hjem-og-husholdning/hjemmeelektronikk/tv-og-bilde/veggfester-og-mobler/veggfeste-for-tv-003125/

The weight of this TV is 60 kg. Do you think 5 screws resting on thin drywall studs is ok to keep the tv from falling?

Hvilke skrue typer brugte du til montering bag på tv et? tænker str. type?

Hei, denne veggen besto av både MDF-plater og stendere som kunne brukes så jeg bruke 4 cm lange skruer, 2 forskjellige typer, en for MDF og en for stender, du ser dem @4:07 i videoen.

Hi. Anchor are for plaster wall, and plaster wall only. You do not need anchors when the wall is made of other materials. This wall was made of chipboard. With chipboard you can mount it directly on the wall. Other kind of walls you need other kinds of plugs. This TV is still hanging safe.

well I never will invite such profesional to install tv.... its just funny. 50+kg tv was hung on self screws without anchors or something. You Know, in house things are happaning. Kids, Vibration, Time, this tv will fall off aventually.

Hi. All our customers get life long warranty on the job. This Tv will never fall down even if people are hanging on it. Anchors are not needed when you have studs you can use.

Maybe cause it's not a drywall but a wooden wall? Screws get pretty hard into the wall so it doesn't seem to be drywall. Am I wrong? Thnx 4 the video!
