I like the Corolla Quest. It's not an attractive car at all but its durable and in the long run its cheaper to maintain (in terms of maintenance cost). But the car prices these days are insane...R370k on a Corolla Quest. Car manufacturers should have a long look in the mirror at themselves for these high prices they are charging customers.

Been looking at suzuki baleno but saw a Toyota quest prestige cvt today at Toyota dealership. 2022 for 289000 with 35000 on the clock. Previous owners were old people, fitted a tow bar and a nav one infotainment camera screen. Looks nice. So now I'm researching these cars. It is grey with nice leather interior. Not familiar with this car but looked very good.

Great review. Thanks for pointing out the different air bag safety specs for each model. Could you also include the NCAP safety ratings in future reviews and how effective the vehicles lights are at night. A major consideration for me is whether my family and I are likely to survive a crash. This doesn't seem to bother most manufacturers though.

I30N all the way for me. It's fast enough. Better reliability, more comfortable ride. More amenities. Slightly better practicality. If I was a frequent track day person then the Megan's would be the one.

Airbags is what is getting me in suzuki. Nice specs on even entry level but those 2 Airbags make me think twice. What's is my safety worth. And you only get more on top spec, whereas this mid spec gets 6. Considering I travel on long roads often.

Hey man love your videos hope you see this question. My car burns 1 litre oil every 3500km. When I take it to dealer they say they need to strip engine etc to see why burning oil. Anyway I asked if warranty will pay they say that warranty only covers if there’s a defect not if there’s “abuse” done to the motor. Can you confirm if this is true. This manufacturer always gets praised for having the “best” warranty in the country.

Hahaha lol second hand Toyota corolla is proper but eish the ciaz at least doesn’t look like obvious Uber car😂😅 Awesome summary of the Two Mr M. Interestingly enough ( dare I say this)🫣 you can also get a almost new 2021 Kia Pegas 1.4 EX for way less and it’s also kitted out with a lot The closest in terms of R370k I found is 2023 Honda Ballade 1.5 RS Auto going for only R379k which like R10k more albeit the Toyota always seems to have more power with this corolla😅🤯 Choices choices 😮😰

Agreed 100% Corolla is the best loved model in the Toyota range, yet for reasons unknown the car's interior specs are never on par. No armrests, no rear aircon, no charging ports, etc. The latest Corolla is approaching half a million rand mark, still with nothingness interior wise😢
