Still driving my good old 2012 prius for 6 years now. 211.000 km on the clock. Had zero problems with it and it’s bringing me and my family from a to b every day without complaining. As long as it does that i will keep driving it

I have my 2012 Toyota prius still up and running with 226k miles. Literally the only thing I had to change was the brake pads and usual maintenance requirements like oil changes. Fantastic cars

I am glad your made changes to prius, after owning one in 2015, this car changed my mind about hybrids in many ways. The car is seriously underrated. I still love my gasoline cars, and I think toyota should always build engines, but the Prius is wonderful car to drive for everyday driving. I have got as high as 100mpg with my prius. Glad the corolla hybrid gets as high and has awd now. I think more people need to own a prius to understand this car. I think their is still a fan base for prius V and Prius C

This is going to be an amazing Prius. I have a 2020 Prime and love it. I would love to upgrade to this one but with the Federal Tax Credit disappearing to almost nothing and recession looming these will not sell as well as the previous versions! Toyota should give some sort of loyalty credits cuz without $7500 credit it’s a tough economy car to sell.

And that is how you design a new car without looking like every other car in the market. Excited to see this.

I love the base LE trim with the 17" alloy wheels and 55-57 mpg with available AWD. However please don't nickel and dime buyers with manual passenger seat, single zone climate control, no rear vents for the XLE and limited trims especially when the cost is upwards of $37,000. It's ok for the base LE trim, not for the others. As great as the exterior design is.

Just traded my 2004 Prius with 300,000 km for a brand new 2023 Prius Prime. I bought the ‘04 new and it was the best vehicle I’ve owned. No repairs needed, just basic maintenance. The engine and hybrid drive train still ran like new. I hope that the latest version of Prius is as reliable.

I went to a local Toyota dealership 2 days ago and their parking lots were mostly empty meaning they don't have news cars available for sale with only 1 2022 Prius left and the salesman told me 2023 new models will not be widely available until 2024. Worst yet it will cost me close to 40,000 USD to buy a most basic LE model.

Finally a good looking hybrid !

I have owned the new 2023 for the last few weeks. Has much more pickup than any previous versions. The car has a much smaller trunk. If you need to put a walker or wheelchair in the back, you must take down both back seats. You can’t change out any of the lights on the inside for aftermarket; they all use a circuit-style light. The dome and reading lights in front aren’t that bright. The car looks very sporty inside and out. If you are six feet or taller, watch your head getting in and out; the ceiling is cut significantly lower than in previous generations. The main car battery is back in the trunk, which is more accessible. The car has no spare tire, so if you buy one, you lose a lot more of your trunk. The vehicle makes a cool noise when driving slowly through parking lots, more of a head-turner for people. I do like the lock and unlock noise from the car; it’s new and sounds great. You can turn on your vehicle and off from an app. Car has built-in Wi-Fi from AT&T, not as fast as Verizon, but the connection has not been an issue as the connection is stable everywhere. Also, in the app, you can see the health of your car, see if your doors are unlocked, and lock them. I wish the app would let you roll windows up and down. The car is ultra quiet on roads and freeways. This is the fifth Prius I have owned; they have never broken down. I have never taken any of my Prius previously to a shop for any repairs and that’s with the cars having over 300k in miles. ~Chad James

I Drew one of these and this is yet my favorite car of Toyota.

We collected our 2024 Prius Prime in March after a twenty-one month wait. Actually ordered a (red), 2022 in 2021. It was to be our third Prius but first Prime. In March past, a Pearl coloured version "pitched". First of all, I've spent some time since, pointing out to people that our SE is not white. Takes a good hard look at the paint before you realize the car is not white, the hue is pearl. One of those happy mistakes I guess. We have been getting above the claimed EV range consistently. Best day yet saw us go 91Km with a 6% SOC left. The other day, after an overnight charge, the computer suggested an EV limit of 98Km. Stellar. So, how come, we can't "run" in Hybrid Mode, with our 2024 Prime until the Traction Battery is fully discharged. Very curious.

I don't care if people say this car is ugly. I don't care. LOOK HOW GORGEOUS IT LOOKS! Definitely my dream car.

Ok I have interesting question about new Prius no one has brought up. Has Toyota done anything to protect catalytic converters from theft on new Prius, such as putting cover on the convertor. In some states like California, they are car with the most stolen catalytic converters so you would think they would have done something to address this in new model.

Lovely looking car…..Shame about the rear door handles, they look hideous 😢 It would have been better to keep the rear door handles in-line with the front handles, or maybe keep all the handles hidden until pressed to open, similar to Tesla
