My wife’s 2017 Sienna has that wonderful V6 engine 8 speed transmission and a classic design. Wouldn’t consider trading it for this under powered quirky lookin thing regardless of the better mileage.

I somewhat agree.. although I've come around to the new design, and this is not an incremental improvement in MPG.. this is a giant leap forward. I know someone who is pulling 34 mpg in this thing running 80 on the interstate. You are talking 10 mpg increase over last gen. And Toyota warranties the battery system 10 years/150k. It's becoming hard to ignore.

Any reason why this new van gets the old 2.0 Safety Sense? There's 2.5 and 3.0 on other toyotas - Right?. I'd buy one if it didn't have old tech.
