2023 Update on LA Metro Projects

Of course, hours before uploading this, there was even MORE news that changes a section but I’m not going to delay the video any further. The G Line Improvements will now apparently cost far more than is earmarked (thanks FTA!) and they are discussing a host of different ways to shave back the project, including nixing the aerial station at Sepulveda (they would build the grade separation, but leave the station where it is), which of course is extremely non-ideal for the Sepulveda Line. We’ll see what happens.
There was also more explicit talk of shifting highway funding specifically to WSAB after 2027, so hey, that’s something!
Also, soon you’ll actually be able to vote on the 12 finalist names (unrevealed still) for WSAB at renamewsab.com
