I'm thinking your price as tested is off, I just bought one, a B4 Plus model and it stickered for $46,880. Your B5 Ultimate should be over $50,000.

I absolutely love my 2020 XC 40 Momentum. I’m hitting my 5 year mark in August and I have accumulated approx 152,000km. I truly feel safe driving this. I do mixed driving. Fuel efficiency is fair. I use more gas in Winter but that’s expected. Oil changes in my area is approx $210? I changed the rear breaks once and front breaks not yet, as I predominantly drive on the highway. I had one significant issue which was the air compressor or something? That was a pricey fix. And I had to get something fixed with the misfire of one of the engine components. Also, I have one of the tailgate hydraulic thingy changed. Hope my lives long. If it does need to go, I will happily buy another XC40. Though I’m interested in the XC90, I heard the break system is bad as they easily get warped

I was surprised by the steering when I tested the XC40, it felt connected even though there was no real feedback. The one I tested had the Polestar option added, not sure it was faster in Polestar but the sound was more dramatic. The seats were amazingly comfortable.

I drive this fun Volvo....2021 XC40 T5 AWD with the Polestar software upgrade ...in Bursting Blue Metallic with the now discontinued Black roof.

I loved my 2020 XC40. In over three years I never had a single rattle, squeak or issue. Other than that damn cat who peed on my sunroof, but that’s another story for another day.

It’s a nice suv but those door issues are quite interesting. Volvo better fix that one. My friend has it and I was so impressed with the interior space.

Lovely car with typical Volvo features and quality finishes..a bit cramped, it felt more like a hatchback. For me, I will definitely go with the larger XC60.

Did Volvo improve the steering feel and add the option to make it firmer for 2023? I drove a 2022 or 2021 model and found the steering to be too light.

I know this video is a few months old but I think that your pricing is a bit off, the ultimate trim all-wheel-drive is more like 48 or $49,000 depending on options whereas you stayed 40,000 in change, I was like oh wow they dropped the price on the xc40 LMAO great review as always❤

is the "as tested" price for the Ultimate trim, shown at 0:17 in the video, supposed to be $50,095 instead of $40,095? I have never seen an Ultimate for $40k...they're about $50k.

Uhm you need to check your notes. 1. I had a XC40 from June 2018 to June 2020. So 2019 as you said twice wasn't the year they launch this vehicle. 2. Good luck if you find one of these for 40k... 3. I loved my Volvo. It was fun to drive on the snow. Fun in regular conditions, very powerful. Little bit noisy maybe because of the tires. 4. I always heard that the seats of Volvo are amazing well.....I drove across the country from Wa to Fl and....the seats were not comfortable, I swear. Same, I want to go back to this brand soon as I leave Covid's poverty haha Well actually my dream car is another Volvo, the V60

To clarify, the Volvo XC40 was introduced in the US for the 2019 model year. The 2019 would have been available for purchase in 2018. The way we handle model years in the US is...odd.

You can “wrap” it to your own design. The quality of “wrapping” is very good, but that would be additional cost of money and time on your own, of course.

They moved two-tone to the electric. Gas (mild hybrid) come only in Core and Advanced now. No more R-Design.

@@AAhmad3449 @jamespetty1510 it doesn’t matter where built. They are owned by a Chinese holding company. I try and avoid buying from entities directly owned by Chinese companies/ investors. They may have my data already but I won’t just give it to them.
