I may be getting my release years mixed up but here goes: Mezco Constantine Mezco the Crow Mafex Nightwing Honorable Mentions: Mezco Bishop, ML Elektra DD Outfit, and Mezco Morbius Off topic...how's your shipments of mezco Doctor Doom? Heard there was some issues with Mezco warehouse and some places haven't gotten their stock in yet. Thanks for vid!

It’s a good list. I missed all the preorders on the 89… I was bummed. But the week before Christmas it showed up a suggested item on amazon. Snapped it up immediately. Love it still can’t believe I got one. Sits next to my Mattel 1/12 66 Batmobile with McFarlane 66 figs. It was a good year. The mcfarlane 66 rerelease of the Batman and Robin in the correct outfits was great too

Have to agree about the Batmobile. ‘89 is for sure my definitive version. Followed by ‘66 then the Animated Series Also, surprised the Endor Rebel Trooper didn’t make the list or honorable mention 😬

I've been on the Mezco wagon for a few years now big man. Yes they take a Long time to come out and it also seems like they come out All at once😂. There mini Hot toys or the poor man's hot toys. The $100 price ( usually) has been going up a bit but it's still the most bang for your buck. IMO.

Can you do an updated most valuable McFarlane DC figures? I have been collecting the line since day 1 and I’m shocked to see how some of those older figures have sky rocketed in value!

X-Men '97 Wolverine was an awesome find and an easy pick-up. Im just glad I was at the store when he was put out. This is the third Wolverine I've seen, but the first I did not pass up. I passed on both retro card Wolvie and Bonebreaker Wolvie because they did nothing for me. I said maybe I'd pick them up if I saw them again; I never saw them again. But once I saw '97 Wolverine, I swooped him with the swiftness. Im more a TMNT collector but will grab the figs that I like. Also grabbed MCU Iron Man, Cap, and both Tom's and Andy's Spiderguys. Want to find Tobey now. Maybe will grab Thor, Black Widow and Banner to display with my MCU movies.

I feel like the reason not a lot of people are talking about the Jada Street Fighter figures is because the distribution seems so spotty. I found Ryu and Fei-Long in my local Targets pretty easily not long after people on social media started saying they were showing up earlier last year. Then I barely saw Ryu/Fei-Long anywhere for a while and then they started piling up on shelves. Then Chun-Li started showing up in Targets on the west coast in August but I didn't find her until December, and even then I've only seen her on shelves I think a grand total of three times even though I check like, 6~ Targets twice a week. I still haven't found Ken. Dunno if this is a Target issue or a Jada issue but it's frustrating regardless.

if I can only pick a top 3 then I'd have to say 1) the premium DNA battletoads zitz, 2) mezco leatherface, and 3) black series starkiller con exclusive 3-pack. but my absolute favorite figure from 2023 (I didn't add him to my list cause I didn't get him til '24) is the figuarts indiana jones (who won a nerdy for best import figure).

Interesting list. I got Pandora and would got Black Widow if she'd been cheaper. Action Force and Jurassic World hammond collection are about all the modern I collect anymore. Love GI Joe but too many exclusives to chase and poor distribution.

Thank god you finally moved the Millennium Falcon misaligned picture frames!!!!! Great to see something different in the background. You could put figures your looking to sell, or figures on sale in your store on the shelf in the background, subliminal marketing with products you want to move(sell). Highlighted products remind the customer to buy, I have bought figures in the background of other KZfaqrs because I see the figure nearly everyday in figure displays in the background

You would be shocked how hard it is to get the background stuff just right so that it is visible, well lite and not messing up the focal point haha

@@Nerdzoic just some ideas, if you looking to sell a few slow moving figures, or show you have a hot figure in stock ready to sell. If you put your camera to manual focus, set the focus depth, then the camera won't look or track the background. I understand it's hard to place the stars wars ship frames, that's the point, the effort creates photographic symmetry, likely most of your customers are trades people with money, non symmetry is what they fix all day. I can actually watch your videos without subconsciously getting annoyed, and finally subscribed to your channel after years of not. THANK YOU FOR CHANGING THE BACKGROUND!

Speaking of factory errors, I need to contact Mezco about the paint issues on my Amazing Spider-Man heads, 2 of them the middle circle is off on the bottom so it's completely off putting 😢😅😂

I’m still not a huge fan of that Wolverine. Both subjectively and objectively. His yellow is finally right, it only took them so long, but the blue is almost a teal color. Additionally while the novelty of pinless joints is aesthetically pleasing the sculpt of the musculature on the new legs and arms is **severely** lacking compared to the old tiger stripe Wolverine. I hoped he’d be the perfect Wolverine for my collection too, and he’s close, but still Hasbro finds ways to fall just short of glory. So I gave up waiting and tracked down an Apocalypse wave Wolverine for around 30 bucks. Not a bad price and I’m satisfied with my purchase.

I'm hugely turned off by McFarlane's DC Multiverse. The figures were already iffy, but especially after the not insignificant price hike on their figures.

The problem with the Jada Toys SF line is like any line that redoes the same scale over and over. The core fan base of Street Fighter fans already have versions of these figures in near the same scale that they are happy with and dont see the need to rebuy the same scale/figurea again. The majority of SF fans who would buy the Jada figures already have the SOTA figures with a comic line and art books.

I can't disagree anymore. Sota? 20 year old figures? Those things were replaced years ago on most shelves. Neca made good SF figs, Storm has been killing it, SHF has killed it (mostly), and now Jada...a line you can just get at retail that doesn't cost $60+? I have bought figures from all the abovementioned lines but Jada is the hottest figure line out right now. Even casuals can still down the collectibles aisle and go "Oh sweet, Ryu, $25, right on" and snag one. This line is super hot for a good reason.
