The SB 135 replaces the original SB 140 and shares many of the same numbers but with the updates Yeti has given to all of their redesigned 2023 models.

I have the SB 135 with the XT group. I love this bike. I've been riding for 30 years, and have owned, geez, 15 mtn bikes, but none ride as stable and fun as this bike. It is expensive, but I got it on sale for about $5500 with the XT group (I've used XT for years, and the reliability is superb). I'm only 5'7" and the 29s just don't work for me (I've owned two), nor does the newer mullet bikes. I believe that only Pivot and Yeti provide 27.4 bikes. Riding in the mountains of New Mexico with very technical downhills with many baby head to boulder sized rocks as well as miles and miles of flowy single track, the SB 135 excels. I do agree that the handlebar height is way to low, so it just put on a higher bar. I haven't seen any issues with ascents, but that's just me. Worth every penny.

When was the last time you actually reviewed a yeti hardtail? Would be great see a review of the yeti A.R.C.

Good comments on the hunched position, could you comment on your size and the size of the bike, maybe compare sizing to last generation Yetis or other brands we might have ridden. It’s really hard to get a feel for sizing from modern geo.

Seems like a good bike for Midwest riding, small climbs technical rock gardens and rolling trails.. not the TURQ build though

@@JordanLeightrials plenty of quality with other brands and 20% cheaper. That's why im.passing Yeti owners in Telluride all the time. Plastic people on Yeti's

It’s a fair point. It’s expensive when compared to the competition. You do pay for quality and it’s up to the rider to decide whether they want to pay for that ‘perceived’ extra quality. Having ridden mtb for well over 30 years, I’d say it’s mostly in our heads.

Apart from a 5mm travel decrease whats the actual doffrence to sb140 27.5. giant already made this bike in 2017 called the trance. People need to stop creaming juat bcuz its a yeti. Overpriced nonsense
