Omg great driving but, arms and legs uncovered was he wearing flipflops too?? basic of rollcages but they wearing a crash helmet

I love these cars but absolute old school and death traps, a super 7 went under a lorry nearby me. No chance, dude was squished.

The helmets most likely weren’t for safety reasons. You don’t want Flies and other insects hitting your face or your head at 140 Mph.

without a cage in this weapon on the Ring with tourists, you need Balls...

It has a cage just behind the seats and they also have honeycomb structures in the cockpit panels. Caterhams are raced professionally and are therefore designed to be pretty safe if crashed.

@@alexpervanoglu7420 This is not the cage but the roll bar. There is also a full cage available for caterhams.

@@C42ST3N True, I've owned several of them. A full cage is an option, however the roll bar behind the seats does a more than sufficient job unless you need to comply with FIA regulations when professionally racing them.

The roll cage is what the camera is bolted to, but shorts and no Nomex clothing/gloves....😬

If a caterham drive looks safe, you are not on the limit ;), also to much movement with his hands on the wheel. He should not be use different grips on the wheel for every corner. You can basicalls have the hands on 9/3 for the complete lap.

@@stephenauty2402 I am driving a Caterham too and i know that this is not on the limit by a lot. Caterhams do not have any electronic aids and if no wheel ever exceeds the limit, you are simply not on the limit. Take a look at hot lapping caterhams or the drivers in the front in caterham races. They are moving a lot.

@@C42ST3N Being "on the limit" means what it says ...very close to crashing , these guys are probably not wanting to do that and the driver has a passenger to take care of , however they are going very fast but in a safe manner and enjoying it immensely I would imagine
