Yes! We have a lot of smart buyers who buy 1-2 rounds first, then back up the truck on the 2nd or 3rd shot. Personally I think that dollar cost averaging is the best way to buy.

That doesn’t help. These scammers just make a new account shortly and move on.

So many customers ask if we would accept a few bucks less than our asking price. Our response: If you get that price somewhere else, you'd know it's a fake.

That’s why I didn’t buy any for so long. I didn’t trust any company unless I knew a smart person who knew fakes from real bought from them. It took forever to find someone I thought was competent to answer that. Finally bought from SD but because they had some stupendously rude Filipino CS jerk on the phone, I kept looking. Finally found monument. And they were efficient, convenient, and no nonsense.

Interesting. My old girlfriend had a hundred dollar bill that looked super duper real. I brought it to my bank and asked them if it was real and they said it was fake and of course they kept it. Neither me or old girlfriend made it, but I was kinda worried about carrying it to bank and what they would do.

Amazon. Good search term "neodymium magnet". They're awesome for testing metals. Please note that silver and copper react the same to magnets. I wouldn't rely on it, but if it sticks, it's an automatic fake.

Some are very trusting. Things like this toughen up people. When I was a freshman in college, I was pretty naive. I was seling a motorcycle online, a guy contacted me asking if he'd be able to buy a part off of my motorcycle. I made a deal and said yes, but instead of buying it, I'd trade a carb cleaning for it. Well... He never came back to give me my carb... I learned a valuable lesson that day about trusting someone you don't know.

We've seen customers get scammed by others, and they still try to pass the coin or bar off to a dealer as if it was real. They did this multiple times with different dealers in the valley.

Some people love living on the edge I guess. We've tried to buy fake wholesale coins to see how people do it. It was incredibly hard to do. The factory in china wouldn't do it unless you provided a file showing the design you wanted. It's a very deliberate thing to do.

AND test them yourself too. I know some dealers that only use the sigma to test. Another video of ours shows a fake faking out a sigma pro... Those dealers could put it in circulation again unknowingly.
