not everyone has or wants an Apple Watch. Some people just don't want a watch, so a screen on the case to quickly switch songs without having to pull out your phone or fiddle with the stem of the AirPods I honestly think is a great idea.

@@rebgedshaq06apple watch is the most poplar watch. not just smart watch. in my british school, 9/10 teachers have an apple watch, and most students either have an apple watch or some cheap apple watch knockoff. so yeah, everyone has an apple watch.

The issue that happens to AirPods Max also happens with the 2nd gen Pros, I’ve had it happen once but the controls for noise canceling were working and I could switch to transparency mode. After brute forcing it to work by putting them on the case over and over the faulty ear but eventually went back to working and it never happened again.

I hope they fix the no charging problem that happens after 6 months, where you have to take them out and put them in several times to charge.

@@tyraelkamh1875 DANGGG that is the SMARTEST ADVICE IVE EVER GOTTEN REGARDINB THIS PROBLEM because saliva is naturally a conductor of electricity so it makes the charging port connect to the airpods TYSMM mate im gonna check if it works

Happy to see someone talk about the condensation and reliability of the AirPod Max. I’ve had the exact same issues: had condensation from normal, in-office use; 2 pairs failed; got the 2nd repaired with Apple care. We’ll see how long they last for.

The ability to switch between devices and still have the earphones connected is availabie on most Bluetooth earphones. I think including those Nothing ear ones. I feel like somehow reviewers are unaware of this for some weird reason as I see this coming up all the time but have been connecting to multiple devices with almost every Bluetooth pair I have had for a while now

What I miss most about Apple's AirPods is a much longer playing time. Then for those of us who would like to use them all night to listen to audiobooks. podcast or white noise. So 8 hours of playtime is sorely missed.

Just battery levels on the case will be sufficient… are you able to investigate and report on cameras being added to EarPods to enable AI experience like smart glasses.

I’m struggling with the AirPods Max issue that you mentioned. At first, none of my devices would connect. After several factory resets, I was able to get them to connect and start working again. Then it happened again, and this time it seems like they are bricked. Not cool, Apple.

@@marinidreamfactory I tried to reason with the Apple Store folks, and they offered me a ‘replacement’ at 50% the list price. The replacement device would be just the headphones, without the earcups or the box. I passed.

I feel you with the condensation issue. I recently received a pair of AirPods 2 from a family member, granted they’re used but a similar issue occurs where you have to keep reconnecting them to the iPhone. Kinda sucks, I’m just gonna get a pair of AirPods Pro 2.

I got the 1st gen AirPods Pro in June 2021, sometime in early 2023 the noise cancellation and transparency mode failed and now if I accidentally turn those modes on it makes screeching noises and then blows my ears out with bass. Right now I’m planning on holding onto these until the Pro 2s go on sale. Just hoping my batteries last…

Mine 1st gen were dying on battery so I had to get 2nd gen. The upgrade was huge especially for the sound quality and usbc charging.

This sucks. I love the shape of the gen 1 and 2 AirPods. So comfortable and fit my ears perfectly. It’ll be a sad day when mine break. Can’t replace them with any of the new ones.

I want apple to do a recall on the apple AirPods Max, 550$ dollars down the drain for luxury headphones that does not even work due to sweat or hardware issues. Apple should make the new AirPods Max free if you trade in the first gen model.

imma be extremely disappointed if the AirPods Max dont get a good enough revamp cause apple delayed the update for a while now, and with all of the complaints that you mentioned about ("smart" case, h1-h2, bricking), apple should be paying more attention to these since (I believe) the hype is already dying down. Lightning to usbc and new colors are "good" but its far from enough, especially when ur paying $500 for it

who needs a screen on the airpods case. doesn't make sense at all. you take out your earphones and put the case down. then just use your phone for navigating , playing music , etc. most likely you already have your phone in hand because otherwise why would u decide to put in the airpods.
