@@SaneTan1027 Taiwan perpetuates their perseverance on the South China Sea without violence unlike CCP who went ro the coast of Catanduanes Ps; Catanduanes is a part of East PH Sea. CCP imposes ultranationalist policies to its neighbors.

the South East Sea should be a free place for all countries, it should not be militarized particularly to put artificial bases like what china.. Law of the sea is useless when it will not be enforced accordingly

Philippines big role in the 1951 Korean war might also be extended to Taiwan when in need.. CCP simply invades someones territorial waters because of their so called 10 dash line that is defiant to international law.. China map showing the 9 dash line only established on 1949, while the oldest Philippines map that we had was dated 1734, the cartography shows the entire Philippine archipelago that includes Scarborough Shoal, Pag asa & Ayungin Shoal.. the CCP clearly shutting off the entire indo pacific to exploit its riches..

3/1988 PRC sank Vietnamese vessels with significant loss of life at Johnson reef. This appears to be the pattern of PRC aggression as Vietnam was still somewhat internationally isolated at that time. Takeaway, form vital treaties and powerful friendships. Taiwan needs to build stronger relationships with its immediate neighbors, Japan and the Philippines, and resolve any 9, 10 or 11 dash line territorial disputes with them. Perhaps see disputed islands as under joint control with shared joint garrsions.

May be Philippines will not be directly fight for Taiwan but as the Professor said, Taiwan is very important to the Philippines, why, Taiwan sits in the northern border of the PH, If Taiwan falls to China our northern part of our country will have another dispute with China, and it will be difficult for the Philippines to protect both WPS and Batanes or even PH sea in pacific, we simply dont have the capacity to protect 3 fronts of our territory! we cannot take that risk! so Taiwan's Status quo is important for the Philippines! China wants to expand and threaten regional Stability! so like i said we may not fight directly but can allow US forces to use our lands to deter China on encircling Taiwan and can be a US forward base if war happens. Also if it comes to the time that Filipinos have to fight for Taiwan in order to secure our northern territory then i think Filipinos will not pass on that! as we too wants China to pay for their bullying acts in to us! if there is a chance for pay back time then we will grab it!

❤❤Taiwan is a very friend of the Phillipines, we recognize Taiwan an independent country. Many filipinos work in Taiwan and keep on goung back to work again, so we could say Taiwanese are good people . Yes Indonesia to are our friends . China not our friends , they want to own what we have. They are hurting Fulipino people but time will come karma will hit china, by this time we already heard that economy of china is failing.

Take note of this Ch propaganda: Since Taiwan which belongs to Ch and originally had the 11-line map, Ch is just enfocing it. So basically, Since Ch owns Taiwan, it also owns what's within its original map. Taiwan do you agree?

The bottom line is China is a country which likes to pick on weak countries with bullies tactics. We should all know by now that China will never abide by any international treaties or law and order. Therefore it's useless to try to convince China to start abiding. The only message Chinese government will understand is from position of strength. I believe China will stop picking on the Philippines if the Philippines build up her military strength greatly, more naval ships, more fighter jets, thousands of long range potent missiles as well as millions of well trained soldiers. That's what the Philippines should strive to accomplish, more weapons. If China was serious taking over the Philippines and/or Taiwan, why China has not done so? That's because China is fully aware that starting any conflict, their economy will greatly affected. All Western nation in the world will boycott purchase of Chinese goods for many years as well as China will lose diplomatic relationship. So China will be the huge loser in the end The only thing China is trying hard is always criticizing others but no actions, just more criticism.
