If u wanna bring Ichi-kun, I strongly recommend Ramadan Bazar at Sek 4 Kota Damansara. Wider space, less crowds n food is delicious too. Happy food hunting in Ramadhan

I like proper Kelantanese ayam percik which is made with coconut milk based marinade/sauce. It can be a little difficult to find around Klang Valley. The coulour is white ish and not red/orange ones (chilli sauce based) like you normally find everywhere nowadays. Ichi kun is practicing his eating with hand skills! がんばれ! He will be pro foodie like mama and papa soon 💪

Putu piring is one my favorite dessert. I will always buy it at the morning market (pasar tani). The base was made from rice flour and at the middle they put gula melaka. When you eat it together with the shredded coconut, the overall taste will balance with each ingredients. Glad you finally chose to try it and like it. 😊

i hope you enjoy bazaar Ramadhan in Malaysia! and it's culture things in Malaysia when people say 'huh?, the vendor not annoyed at you it's just means 'pardon'. we can have a whole conversation with 'huh' 😂 it's depends on situation, a lot of things can be interpreted from 'huh' in Malaysia. I think there's youtube video about Malaysia 'huh' 😅.

You can find frozen murtabak at supermarket at the frozen food section..but not all supermarket sell it tho 😅

So just around there at the row of shops behind maybank, same row as mcd, there is a johorean restaurant called Wannah's. Go there on a weekday to order their nasi tomato and ayam masak merah, come on a weekend for their biryani ayam. It's my fav restaurant in ttdi, I'll usually try to stop by if I have time after afternoon prayers. Oh and pair it with the bandung soda.

18:07 it is PUTU PIRING. Rice flour, coconut shavings and palm sugar steamed with banana leaves in specialized steamer. Looks dry but really Oishi!

Suggestion to any Japanese 🇯🇵who want to go to Bazar Ramadan during Muslim holy month in Malaysia🇲🇾 (need to check every year calender), the MAIN DESERTS IN MALAYSIA was KUIH TEPUNG PELITA (the square banana wrapped bowl filled with coconut custard & pandan custard)…A MUST TRY

I think 4.30pm is the right time to visit bazar Ramadan. If you come at 3.30pm most stalls are not opened yet, they are still prepping.

20:43 plum flavor you taste in Nasi Kukus probably is Asam Keping... yeah Asam Keping its kinda like dried plum we use to put in Malay cooking dish or kuah to give it a bit sour taste...quite similar sour like tamarind 😁

no need to buy too much food, just 4-5 types are enough... the day after tomorrow you can buy again in the same area just a different stall, or go to the bazaar in another place... don't worry, fasting for a month in the bazaar is the same...

One more kakak .. try experience buffet ramadhan .. there should pay rm__ perhead .. but i prefer you in hotel .. they have more than 100 menu ..from local tradisional to western .. from east kedah untill johor dishes ..eat untill you faint😅🙈🙈.. only ramadhan will serve ..worth to try 👍👍👍sure wont regret .. you can see ichang posting as example ..

the sour taste probably from the sauce/gravy. usually, malays like to put a little bit of tamarind juice or dried one when prepare the sauce/gravy.

That ume taste you found in nasi kukus actually comes from the sambal. Sambal in nasi kukus is often made fresh (fresh here means that the ingredient won't be fried, unlike other sambal), pounding chillies along with other ingredients such as tamarind juice and calamansi. The last two is what gave the sambal that ume taste, all the while keeping the spiciness at a minimum level.

If you interested the food, but you don“t know the taste. You can ask “Can I try one? 99% they will give you for free. You see long quene because the food is very delicious and a lot of people willing to wait. Nasi kukus is steam rice and they put coconut milk to steam. A lot of place have Bazaar Ramadan, only difference the place is big or small.
