You noticed the same thing with me. Yep, in a comparison vid (i’ll link in next comment) the reviewer pointed out that the lightning bar is a bit different between the i5/540i/m60 and the normal combustion drive train like 520i/520d/530i. In higher trims (B58 engine and i5/m60) the lightbar is like crystalized bar, also harzard blinkings are also different with these two type of lightbars. Some people find the simpler bar in lower trims (B48) more interestings, me too. So if you would like to to have the same light bar as shown in this 530i, you should look into 520i,530i and 520d, just any trim with 4cyl gas or dsel would have that.

This changed for November 2023 build onward. The same crystal light bar will be in all models from then on. Prior to was just the double light strips.

exsactly the lines and designs of bmw after 2020 after toyota joined its destroyed rhey look rediciliously ugly the outside designs the lines the lights everything is more a toyota then a real BMW and these toucscreen tablets stuck on the dashboard like they dont belong there ugly why not integrating it the dashboard and leave the tacho and rpm and these analog and made only multimedia screens and so on. they are making them, worse every year. these new % series 2024 is extremly never seen such a bad looking 5 series ever. the lights front and thge nose of the car is weird and ugly the rear lights are stolen from a toyota camry and are not looking in anyway like a bmw the side lines of the cart ugly the rear end extreme ugly and these black corners on left and right so high up . i love BMW from young age. But from 2020 i like only extremely small percentage of them. and one more thing that i dont like on these new cars almost every car no matter what u buy has a 4 zylnder but the price is higher and higher for the same engine just a litllwe more oppened up, these engines will not last long and to me everything is just a scam.... they are not worth the money they are asking for them anymore. they are saving on alot of things in production but they try to sell them even higher then ever before just a big scam that ios going on in the car industrie and these electric and hybridy is a scam to. not worth the money at all and evem more toxic to the planet then normal cars. we need big changes bmw needs to change the designer these are not looking bmw anymore they look like 5 cars mixed together in to a new crap car theat has light from these front from these rerar from these and so on it has no character anymore it looks like shit... iam very dissapointed on BMW the last 4 years.... Terrible car i dont see what people see in these terrible design iam almost puking everytime i see it on the streets. when people ask me why you look like au wanna puke i just tell them ive seen the new 5 series 🤮🤮 in real life is even worse.

Respectfully, I disagree it’s beautiful. Everyone said the same thing about the E60 when it came out after the E39. Now the E60 is considered one of the best 5 series and it’s aged extremely well. These designers see things you don’t realize decades into the future. Especially at BMW
