Almost a decade ago, BMW introduced the i sub-brand. It was their first step towards electrification. The first models were the i3 and the i8. But since their introduction, BMW has not made an electric or high performance hybrid since.
Fast forward to 2024 and BMW has three fully electric vehicles with a fourth on the way. The BMW iX is roughly the same size as the X5 and the M60 xDrive version has similar performance to the X5M Competition. The BMW i4 is an electric version of the 4-series with the least expensive price tag. The BMW i7 is the flagship of the BMW i division. Not only is it as luxurious as the 7-series but it has the most amount of technology. And finally, BMW just recently announced the upcoming BMW i5. Not too many details are known at the time of filming this video but expect to see it at OpenRoad BMW dealerships in late 2024.
