I wish the i7 was depreciating as fast as some others think (I would buy one) However it’s not. 2023 models have only depreciated about 20%. This is surprising because most EV’s are depreciating 40% or more in 1 year.

True. I think it has to do with the i7 being much more than just an EV. Compared to something like a EQS or Audi ETron, you’re getting a lot more luxury features and the 7 Series platform for the same price.

Not true, you just have to look. I picked up a i7 2023 sticker at msrp 143k for 95k. From a bmw dealer also. 1 year used is where it’s at.

@@gokulmurthy2308I’m still actively looking. The only i7’s I’ve seen at that price don’t have the options I want or they have 20k miles in one year. I also refuse to buy if the car isn’t certified. How many miles did you buy yours with?

8k. It is factory certified but I also bought the extended warranty just in case. I can always return it if I don’t keep the car.

Currently shopping Evs,, it's so hilarious most sales people are actually actively discouraging purchasing evs rite now and strictly recommending leasing due to the tax credits causing super depreciation and battery life variability 🤣

Especially one with the thought is the inconvenience of charging while you're saving the planet in a car that weighs multiple tons with wheels that continue to lose efficiency...... a lot of rich people aren't dumb but you kind of need a rich dumb person to buy this

Wish Lexus LS next gen EV is like this. Current LS500 doesn't really compete on feature or interior room (similar room to 5 series)

The current LS is from 2017, will be discontinued...... . The next big Lexus sedan will be a plugin hybrid, with solid state batteries, 2026. It will replace the ES as well as the LS..., slightly bigger than the current ES.

With all due respect, Sir, you said it’s a Luxury vehicle; it’s geared toward people who are being chauffeured rather than family travel, yada, yada, yada. Take that into account and you’ll see the Optics will immediately change and make sense 😇

When you place the distance between cities and such, the bmw i7 is not worth it, even in the city driving it would cause losses in battery time usage. This car is not worth the $100,000.00 plus as a sack of trash.

Hideous. It looks like a Chrysler 300. BMW has gone dumb with their new aesthetic. MB's def in the driver's seat when it comes to looks right now IMO and it ain't evn close... and I say that with a heavy heart as a lifelong BMW guy.

Beyond ugly car, both inside and outside. In Europe already a complete salesflop..... . In real life this car is obese and not stylish. 2nd, the fit and finish is below average as is the case with every new Bmw and Mercedes, Audi these days... . Look at comparison to the current Lexus Ls instead........superb fit and finish, beyond beautiful interior. Lexus LS is light years ahead of this Bmw.

The LS was in 2017 a mixture of a 7 series and S class and failed in the first 2 years. 2 major facelifts later the LS has become again as comfortable as an S class. 2nd, Toyota has done nothing with the LS, no marketing, no sponsorships, nothing at all...... . That said, the LS is a far better car than this 7 series...... . The LS is far better build, better fit and finish and materials... and far, far better to look at. The 7 series is a complete sales disaster, even in Germany.....
