I have to comment and vouch for Keith at Jerry Seiner. Him and his team quoted me an amazing price. Although i went with GMC, Keith’s price was almost $10k less than what I was quoted here in Texas.

Finally got the notice that My truck in in production. I’d give it another month. I have been driving My ‘96 Dodge since it was new, been a great truck, and no DEF. A big concern of mine is Re-Gens. I don’t know about other people, but I know it would be nice to see what this is all about in one of Your videos, as You have a lot of experience with a lot of different brands of trucks. Love Your content. The trucks, and the RV’s. I got the truck, so I could get an RV, and tour some of the country in My retirement. Great video!

Hello, I actually purchased this pickup within a week of this video. I’ve changed some items and plan on adding the cognito 4” level lift kit next year. For now , I will be installing the 2” Kryptonite level kit along with their upper control arms and front end kit. I’ve seen your black dually built and noticed you went with the cognito upper control arms along with some of their goodies. I seen your comparison video on this pickup to your own pickup and we all have are own build ideas. That being said. I thought it would be cool to see the progress on the ‘24 Dually pickups builds.

Hey JB, I had seen the video that you did on your black dually where you explained what the truck didn't come with, and you had mentioned that your truck didn't come with rear parking sensors. Then, when I watched this video and this was a High Country, it didn't have the rear sensors either. I drive a 2018 Ram 2500 Laramie, and it has the rear sensors on it. So, for the price they are asking, it would be nice to have those added to the truck. I'm looking for my next truck, which will be a 1ton 3500 dually, but at the same time, I'm kinda waiting to see if Ram will be doing something with the 2025s??? I really enjoy your videos, so keep them coming.

Nice video. The truck is very nice but again, I can’t honestly say it’s $12,000 nicer than your black dually. I would rather have that color though than black but you know me, red hot all the way lol. Also the taillights are actually made different on the duallies if you will look. They don’t have the indention on the bed sides like the SRW trucks.

This is because the GMC and Chevrolet use the exact same bed on the DRW models. There is no difference in even the taillights between the two .

Ive heard GM does not provide VIN specifications for towing capacities on the door. It does for payloads, but the towing numbers are based on generic class numbers right???

If you do a road test for a couple days, put a couple 60 pound sand bags on the back and have a couple passengers in the cab. Then do a decent road test. See how the passengers are comfortable wise and see how the ute (truck) rides with the weight in the tray. Make the diesel engine work better with wieght. Being a diesel, it needs to be worked for better results.

I was tricked lol I was like yes finally some more content with the 3500 gas high country to see how it tows and its just another dually lol I'm telling you that dually bug has bitten you, I can just tell in your voice in how excited you get reviewing these. Spoiler alert they will pull your house down.

After searching and comparing I'm assuming the reason this truck has that ratio is the torque output and the 10 speed Allison allows GM to knock down the static ratio. The 975lbs torque is a lot to even start out in 5th gear. If you notice the 5 and 6 speed Allisons have a higher rear ratio because of the less torque rating. This thing will make the highest torque numbers down to 1200 rpm which should really give you great mileage for a monster at highway speeds I guess...You can't or should not want to go with anything bigger than a 285 which is going to kill your towing capacity anyway..

It’s a great holiday hauler. But it’s not good for commercial use. The engine is too unreliable and the transmission and rear‘s are too weak. It is a pretty truck, I’ll give it that.
