I’m pausing right here to say: I think the “bits and bobbles” is not only a perfectly fine descriptor of the items you are talking about you also sound adorable saying it. I mean that in the most complimentary of ways. Seems to fit your personality. I am always so fascinated not only by accents & dialects, but how many different sayings and phrases from KZfaqrs that are usually regional,but can sometimes get as specific as familial. I stumbled onto a crafter from New Zealand the other day and she kept saying “we” every time I would have chosen the word “little” variety is the spice of life. I’m on pausing to watch the rest now.😂

I just got rid of so much! I had collected so much for junk journal making and I’ve moved on to card making now! Junk journaling is fun but you keep literally everything to make them! The hardest thing was I gave over 100 punches to the thrift store- so hard to part with them and I never ever used them! Punches also take up so much space to store! I had tons of different brands so they were different shapes + sizes! I’m trying to get my hoard organized- it’s overwhelming! Thanks for the video and I did sub 😉

Oh my gosh!!! My dad passed in 1996, exactly 1 week after officially retiring from Southwestern Bell after 31 years of service!! Those old school phones! Oh the memories!!

I love how you said used what you have! You have a lovely craft room. I see some craft room and I think I’d have to put a second mortgage on my house to have something like that! It’s totally unrealistic for the average crafter. It’s so nice to see a beautiful craft room that is realistic for most people. Thanks for the tour and all of the tips. I really appreciate it. Yes, I, too, have a hard time staying focused on the task at hand. But I am reorganizing what I want to keep, & purging the rest of it, slowly, but steadily. Thankfully, I have a friend that I can donate for their Mexico ministry, & my DIL homeschools her kids, so they always enjoy what I pass on. This is my 1st time here & your voice sounds fine to me. Thanks for sharing!

It is so much fun (sorta) seeing what everyone is finding and using for storage. I get so jealous of some of the vintage pieces that have been made to store crafts. There are several l wish l could find, but until l get my room going more, l will have to be ok with what l have until l find some great things too. Got some good ideas, thank you.

Thanks for showing the Dollar tree shoe boxes! I know exactly what you mean about putting labels on those bins. I need my words! Without the words, it's just a box of pretty things I might waste time looking at instead of finding what I need.

I'm so like you, I love watching other people's craft rooms and what they can do with them. I just got a crafting shed end of summer last year, so I got it set up just in time for Christmas.... It was such a a disaster I could barley walk through much less have a place to craft. I got through Christmas and selling what I could now in cleaning and packing up all that and trying to figure out where and how to put all this stuff. Thanks for showing yours it's a big help watching what other people do. I have a lot of the DT storage stuff just need to organize mostly. I will be joining your Facebook community thanks so much. i'm not gonna lie.... i would LOVE to see your craft shed! you should film it and show everyone. 🥰 and the hardest part for me is not adding more to my stash. i see things that i could craft with and then i don't always do it. so i've really just tried to use up my stash and be intentional about what else i buy. 😂 but it's not always easy. thanks for stopping by my channel!!

Today I plan on getting into my room to organize my craft supplies. Thanks for the tips and reminders to use what you have. I have some shelving in my basement that’s really not being utilized, so I’m going to move that into my room. I also made myself a list of tasks this morning so that the project doesn’t seem too overwhelming. Fortunately, I really don’t have that much stuff in that room because I’ve got craft supplies in a dresser and in a pie safe in my dining room.

Some great tips on organizing. Just moved and found so much stuff in totes that I’m not using and/or forgot I had. Need to do better with storing like items together and labeling. I’m also a saver of bits & bobs that I have some brilliant idea for. 😂

Girl I feel ya, my daughter said my craft room/office looked like a bomb blew up in it! I use theses black office trash cans to put stuff in and label, I have one for misc. for those odd and ends the slide in my shelves my flowers are the hardest I have a wire dress form I put chicks wire inside that works and looks good too but… I uh have filled it 😆

Omg girl! I just started watching the video and I am currently purging/cleaning my craft room/office and have 3 binders of cds!! I have no idea what to do with them! lol. I don’t want to get rid of them, but I have no idea why hahaha!!! Also I have just cut down on my bits and bobbles lol. I had a log of random stuff lol!!

Haha, I can relate so much to this video. I went to dollar store last week. We bought some of the little wooden roses and hearts at 4:22. Also they had some new stamp sets and sticker set we picked up. I also got a small plastic bin with lid for organizing, sadly, they only had the one clear, all the rest were colored :/

Most of what you have is out in the open. Maybe I'm the only one with this issue: What do you do about dust? For me it's dust plus cat hair. If I leave things out, it would be a dirty mess in 3 months. How do you clean around your craft materials? Or how do you prevent dust?
