lol I just watched your original video where you built your island and was so inspired to build one myself ( late coming to the party). Love your room and I hope I can redo mine cuz it doesn’t make me happy right now.

I am thrilled you are back! I have been binge watching your old organization videos as I have just moved and feel overwhelmed about how to organize my stuff. I got rid of over 50% of what I had as I was moving to a much smaller space, but it is still a challenge to figure out how to make what space I have work for me. I am finding your videos helpful and, again, I am very glad you are back. I hope you will do some more 15 minute motivators. What a gift those are. Anyhow, tfs. Your new wall looks amazing!

If you cut a piece of wood and put it between your new piece and the Michael's unit it will distribute the weight. Had to do it when I stacked my Alex drawers from Ikea! It works!

Welcome back! Love the updates to your room, especially your desk area! Love how your put the printers in the closet area too, gonna try that in my room (i took the doors off too). Bought the height extender you have your Mink machine on and actually just put it up today....Love it already!! I didnt know you loved Peacocks, they hold a special meaning for me as well. Last year I painted an armoire in different shades of blues and greens, then added Prima transfers, and even found Peacock knobs for the doors! It came out so beautiful.

Absolutely love your room. This is my first time watching one of your videos and I have gotten so many ideas. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You! Love the wine rack/bins combo in the storage unit. I work from home also and my room serves as my home office and craft studio. I see you have two large monitors on your work desk. Please tell me what you’re using to hold those. Mine totally take up my entire desktop and it drives me crazy.

WOW! Such a wonderful space and great organizing detail too. My room and supplies are about the same size and volume as your space, and I'm currently in the precise details of organizing the little supplies, I'm curious as to the acrylic square smaller containers you have in the Michael's clear drawers. Do you remember where you purchased those at? Thank you for sharing your wonderful craft room.

I'm so glad I found you. You are the first person I have found that does ALL the same projects that I do. One question....do you do stop the blur and project life separate or combined?

So I do not do traditional project life, but I incorporate pocket spreads into my son’s yearbook albums to capture a snapshot of each month. I do STB separate to capture all the events and moments that will help me remember when I am ready to scrap in the yearbooks. I hope that makes sense :) I am switching from 9x12 to storyline chapters albums for my yearbooks going forward as well.

First of all, welcome back! Second question for you, when you said you made some changes, do you not do 12x12 pages anymore? I’m considering opting out of 12x12 scrapbooking into the smaller albums..

Thank you! I do not do 12x12 pages anymore. I have found that size to be overwhelming and the albums just too large to look through and store once completed. I am doing my memory keeping in Heidi's storyline chapter albums which are about 7x9, I am slo doing some projects in 6x8 albums. I find that size to still allow me to have room to be creative but overall a more manageable size. I also find myself adding in more large photos with these sizes than I did with a traditional 12x12. I hope this information helps! I suggest giving it a try and see if you like a smaller size, you can even start with transitioning to a 9x12, which is actually quit a difference believe it or not.

I just got into scrapbooking about a year and 1/2 ago and went right for the 12x12 pages. Lately I've been hearing so many say the same thing and friends at crop moving to all digital! Wondering if I should slow down and try some other sizes or if it's too late for me lol When you say overwhelming, is it because you have so many albums? Or is it the size of the albums/supplies? Any advice appreciated!

@@Staceyintampa I’m old school, never did go digital. I’ve been scrapping for 15 years(geez I’m old) 😆 I still have a few kits to work with. But I think when those are gone, I think I’ll make a change to smaller albums. Hope this was a bit helpful.

@@Staceyintampa great question! I hope you are enjoying scrapbooking so far!! I found the size to be overwhelming. When a 12x12 is done they can be very heavy and awkward to look through. I would definitely recommend playing in other sizes, maybe do a vacation album or another event in a different size, you may find you enjoy it just as much or more! I also love scrapping outside of the page instead of in the page protector, which is another reason what I changed my album size.

Great question! I would have to say I really like the quality and versatility of the Michale's units. The only downfall is the price, but if you can be patient and wait for a sale, totally worth it. So long answer, I would chose the Michael's units over Kallax.
