This game looks incredible, but I’m so worried about it not having offline single-player mode. That’s what gave S3 such a long lifespan.

Most fun I had with the previous games was skating alone in the story mode.

-Offline Mode -Private Server -Hall of Meat These are main highlights that I feel like will make this game THRIVE. Obviously, make sure the game feels good to play like the others. You know this, you got this! I'm really excited to play this and look forward to seeing more of it! You might feel like we're giving a lot and expecting a lot, but that's because we all know what this could become if done right!

We need customizable deck sizes! Everything in the gameplay looks like a 8.0" boards...

Playing with friends is great, but being able to explore alone is really really nice to have. Most of my fun in Skate 3 wasn’t even in the online mode. It was in the bits of exploration and just straight up flowing through the locations that were the most enjoyable part. I’m hoping there’s and offline or single player mode to allow that without needing to be forced into MP 24/7

If possible, bring back Jason Lee to play COACH FRANK!

I’m glad everyone is stressing how important a story mode is it’s not just about freedom and creativity. You also need the aspect of enjoying a part of a story on your own. I think too many games do this to a player where they just want you to focus on an environment when really it’s all about the journey.

A season? In a skateboarding game? We’re cooked.

I want the devs to take their time. I want this game to be good.

While skating the city is pretty cool, I think it should be a given that there should be normal skateparks dotted around the city as well for authenticity.

It's astounding how many people keep saying "don't go live service, please let there be an offline mode, don't monetize everything" and it all falls on the deafest ears, for Skate 4.

This better not be an online only experience.. PLEASE dont fail this!

I really want a level editor. The Skate 3 level editor was awesome and really extended my time with it.

This looks so fun! I can't wait to play it. An offline solo mode would be nice but it looks like fun regardless. Would love to see much more customizable clothing options too.

Hope this world is much more like Skate 1 and 2 than 3, we need that "gritty/dirty/grunge" aesthetic with thrashed concrete and streets, damaged structures, graffiti filled skateparks and street spots, DIY spots etc etc. I don't mind a bright vibrant colour pallet, but maybe some optional filters you can customise in a menu could be cool? I just want that Skate 2 vibe.

This is looking so good! I do hope we can toggle off that sound effect when you land a trick. Sounds like the score thing going up in multiplier. hopefully you consider people who might just want the sound of the skating.

8:12 Seasonal updates are good, but please please please do not have time-limited items and gear. FOMO is such a horrible mechanic and make it so if you join into the game late into its lifecycle, you can't get something you really want because it's gone forever. Add the items and keep them accessible at all times, regardless of when you start playing. That's my biggest request.

Character customisation ideas: - Curly/straight/wavy options for certain hairstyles & a length option - cuff thickness slider for cuffed pants & cuff height slider - baggyness slider for baggy pants - board width options - shoe size option - trick animation editor, customise your animations for each trick

I really hope there's a low camera like skate 1 and 2, it always made skating feel a lot more dynamic and fun. I also wish for a custom skate park creator like Skate 3, it's my favorite feature of that game.

Please add board wear and a on/off setting id love to see all the scratches n stuff after being in a session for a while

They should put the mechanics of skate 1 where you have to go to the clothing store to buy the clothes and the subway system to go by subway to the other parts of the city and play the general song of skate 1 and 3 even though Be it half, I would ask that they include surrender and going up the country and a song that I would like them to include would be airplane by red hot chilli peppers well I hope you continue with the development of the game I wish you good luck with the development

I love that actual skaters are working on the game and even the people who maybe don't skate are still really passionate about it.

ive been hating on this for a while. While I'm still not excited about it being free to play, this trailer has actually restored a lot of faith in me. Can't wait for console play testing and Im pretty excited about wallies slappies and firecrackers

I still remember pretty well my first time playing Skate almost 17 years ago and how much the franchise played into my life outside of the controller. I would play Skate and get pumped to actually go skate, come home and play more. Using the replay to slow down and study the mechanics of a kickflip. Being introduced to new music that influenced my taste to this day. Glad to see this heart is still beating

I bought the first Skate back in 2007 and have played them all off and on since then. Lately I've been building custom parks and I just hope that we'll have the ability to construct within a space without hitting some sort of terrain limit. That and I hope the game doesn't feel like it has been throttled only to comply with the Switch and Mobile platforms. I can't wait for this. Take your time dev team!!

I'd love to see a feature where you can scrape, tear, break your board as a mode in your settings. and if you turn it off your board remains in good condition. idk just think that would be a cool feature.

I hope they populate the levels with more everyday structures, I feel like the designers just slap ramps n rails everywhere in an otherwise blank area. You do realize that isn't like skating in reality, finding a spot isn't coming across a hidden ramp, it's just us interprating everyday obstacles into something to skate upon, seeing it through our skater eyes. Session nailed this with their levels. So packed full of interesting obstacles.

Stuff that felt missing from the demo was darkslides (I dont remember if there were late flips/underflips) and the narrator felt waaaay off. Make something coach frank-esque. Need a goofy fella yelling at you about skateboard tricks. And also could the object dropping system get worked on a lot before release? Everything was only able to be oriented perfectly upright, rather than movable into the terrain to match the slope and pitch. It really limits the creativity of custom spots. I tried making a pyramid on a slight bank and the best I could do was a crazy steep one with a 4 inch gap below the bottom because the ground wasnt flat. Everything else was really sick👍

Now that you guys added climbing and world details, graffiti would be so awesome kinda like the stickers in skate 3 but better with like a spray can and your own tag

Still haven't seen a single flowy baggy pants that stacks on the shoes. Look around guys skateboarders are not wearing rolled up pants as if we were in the odd future/ tyler the creator 2015ish era. (I don’t need to see socks unless you wear jorts)

can't wait for the game! but for clothing it would be nice if we could get all the og brands like alien workshop or zero but also the discontinued ones like world industries for example

I would love to see different board shapes in customization such as smaller boards from the 70s to fish tail decks from the 80s-90s. Give us different wheel materials too like clay wheels,urethane, to the ones we have now.

Give us the emote where when someone lands a trick you can grab the board and tap the nose on the ground as a clap

I would love to see some more tattoo or body modification options! I have multiple piercings, stretched ears, and a whole body worth of tattoos and I really want to be able to represent myself accurately in game! Skateboarding and tattoo culture go hand-in-hand, and it just becomes more true as time passes

It still bothers me how the landing of tricks is so floaty but otherwise it's gotten pretty decent!

You guys should throw in climbing mechanics to be able to climb rocks walls to be able to reach new places. I’m definitely hyped to see what’s coming

My main thing is how the pop and “difficulty” of the mechanics. Changing the difficulty in Skate3 was fun because of how realistic or ridiculous you wanted the game. Also the types of tricks having different levels of pop was necessary for that core feel of the game
