Hello there! For today’s video I’ve combined my love for thrifting with my love for vintage home décor in this early summer kitchen decorate with me. It turned out to be a beautiful mix of thrifted, new, vintage, and well-loved home décor. All the items together help to create a warm, inviting, curated kitchen that is perfect for early summer. These early summer kitchen vignettes are simple and easy to transition throughout the upcoming months. I made sure to add a few red, white and blue touches for an Americana look that is festive for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday. Thrifting home décor is not only budget friendly but also makes your home unique. Especially if you can find rare vintage home décor pieces at thrift stores, garage sales, and estate sales. I always love sharing my home décor and how I decorate with you. I hope it inspires you to create a home you love as well.

Hi there! I am so glad you are here and hope you enjoy my thrifted vintage kitchen decor for early summer. I mention it in the video but wanted to ask again for your prayers regarding my dad. He was in a car wreck this past week and fractured his back. Being 83 complicates his healing process. I don't live close to him so it is hard on my heart to not be able to stay by his side. I will keep you posted as we navigate his course of care and healing. I would love to pray for you so if you have a prayer request or even a praise you would like to share please let me know. Each one of you is precious to me and I am glad to have you here! XO ❤

Sorry to hear about your Dad. The bowl with the peaches looks like a Homer Laughlin, pattern Contessa. At a recent estate sale, I bought a service for 6 plus round bowl, platter, sugar bowl and creamer for $25.00!!! Don’t we all enjoy bargains!! Your kitchen looks wonderful!

Lovely kitchen. I believed that is in fact a covered sugar bowl and many come with an under-plate (small tray.) Most of the ironstone covered sugar bowls by Alfred Meakin are on the larger side. Sometimes they are misidentified as biscuit jars but they are generally too small compared to traditional biscuit jars.
