MK is actually a faction of the ANC. Zuma himself says he's still a member of the ANC. So what will happen here is that the ANC will court Zuma and make compromises to him. It must be accepted that he still has a large support base within the ANC itself. Ramaphosa will not sleep tight after today.

In the last Local Government Elections less than 50% of the ELECTORATE voted. Yet the IEC declared it Free & Fair. It certainly was FREE but definitely it was not FAIR. A democracy is when the 50%+1 ie. the majority decided.
