After this, still waiting for real new news about the Equinox EV. GM’s basic method with EVs has been to expand passenger room in lieu of behind the back seat storage, therefore comparing the gas Equinox interior dimensions to the EV is as unrealistic as comparing the Bolt EUV to the Trailblazer. What would be good to know is whether or not GM’s new drive system allows the electrical disconnection of the front or rear motor in the AWD vehicle to increase range in some highway situations. I own a ‘23 EUV, and I’m concerned about the realistic range of the base Equinox. In comparison, it has 10 hp more and 24 lbs-ft of torque less than the EUV. I don’t see how this equals the same range with -10kWh battery. GM might be taking a point from Tesla’s playbook and fudging range ratings extremely to their advantage. Already the EUV range is stretched as it’s 247 mi range on a 65 kWh battery is 3.8 mi/kWh. This requires long range highway drivers to use range extending techniques in order to reach. I have seen some rumors that the Ultium charging speeds are still only 150kw max for the base offerings. This = fail, GM. I think the market expects a minimum of 250kw in this era of EV evolution.

Haha they compared that to the Hyndais 48 min to charge 80percent....mm, Hyndai sounds worse 10 min to charge and 48 min for Hyndai unless you look at the miles that it can support. Listen close otherwise you will be fooled into thinking that Equinox is better.
