Had you gotten a chance to use a gps ( on a straight flat stretch of highway ) to see how far out your speedometer is off ?. The interesting part about putting larger tires on without re-calibrating, yes the distance shown is less than it actually went ( which you realize ) and as well the actual speed your travelling is faster than what you think and that part certainly detracts from fuel mileage due to even more wind resistance, and added speeding tickets !. Had you talked to a shop to see how much it would take to re-calibrate the system ?. Never the less for driving that fast with that large a rig, that isn't bad at all !

you guys spending $100,000 for a pick up are just being the pawns in this game. Always have to have the "latest and greatest" no matter the cost. If you guys would stop spending these completely overblown prices then maybe theyd start bringing prices down to normal. They only keep them that high cause fools are paying it. Guys paying house mortgages for trucks and then are constantly having to bring them in for repair because Ford and others adding way too much technical garbage that they cant even figure out how to make correctly.
