Is the phone app (to start, stop, open doors) still going to be in included with the XL/STX? I have. 2020 and when I buy a new one, I will consider another vehicle if it is not included. The highest trim package available for me is XLT since I want a bed woth my truck. I am disappointed they no longer have the 3.5 ecoboost available with a normal truck bed.

First off let me say thank you for sharing this information with us. I look forward to seeing your videos because they are informative and honest. I watched Fords launch of the 2024 F-150 and thought it was good but I appreciate you giving us the devil in the details. Here we go on likes and dislike, LIKE new tailgate, Led lights, bigger tank, HUDisplay. DISLIKE, any subscription especially on a safety item like camera( hopefully Ford rethinks that). Thanks again now I just have to find $70,000,lol.

Is that camera subscription thing only on these trucks ? Is my 24 bronco order safe from that ? I think it’s gonna discourage a lot of buyers. The rest are just gonna find a way to hack the system

Howdy, no, unfortunately i don't know. They don't share that information with us. Only thing i cold speculate is lack of parts from their suppliers.

Thanks for the info. I’m looking for a new truck in 24. Was excited about the Ford 150 right up to the 360 camera info. That becomes a deal breaker for me. I tow a trailer a lot and going to a subscription service, especially when you can’t detail the cost, won’t work. These bloody truck are too expensive as is and then having to pay a subscription for something that is really a safety feature sucks!!! Guess I’ll be leaving Ford behind!!

They actually came out and said they will not be doing the subscription for vehicles ordered with it, it is more for vehicles without it that may want to activate it such as an XL trim level.

Why does Ford not offer a darker interior option for the PlatPlus. Its still a truck even over 80k and truck folks sometimes may be dirty and not want to clean seats after a week.

Can't have luxury with suede material on a work truck! Does not mix well at all that's why. If you want the features of a PlatPlus just get the plat and fit it out

I'm getting a new truck this time next year. I'm considering either an F150 or Tundra. Price is a factor. Ford is already the more expensive of the two in the trim levels I'm considering. Lariat F150 FX4 or Limited Tundra TRD. If Ford actually gets so greedy that they make that 360 cam "subscription", then they've lost me. There are limits to what I will put up with.

Ford has come out to say that the subscription is more for lower trim levels that do not have it standard. Idea is that if they wish to add it on later on they can.

I have purchased Ford trucks for 28 years now, but I can't believe they took away this option for us. No 5.0 in the King Ranch or Platinum!!!!?? Ford is going to lose a few customers. That 6.2 is looking better. PS. I bought my first 1995 powerstroke from Tomball Ford.

6.2 from GM? lol. GM has went drastically down hill since 2020. Those V8 engines are full of problems not to mention all the electrical issues GM is having. Good Luck!

Thanks for the video. I think the automatically moving over if you put on your turn signal is going to be problematic, especially in heavy traffic. A lot of times you have to put on your turn signal while someone is right next to you. So unless they have something which detects that car AND prevents it from immediately moving over, that could cause accidents. Re: subscription for 360 degree, that is the worst idea that has come along in a while. They are making more than enough and there are cheaper options for vehicles with a 360 degree camera standard.

Brian of course the vehicle is able to detect vehicles around it when considering changing lanes. Wouldn't make much sense otherwise... And yeah as soon I heard about it I immediately knew it would be Ford's most controversial move since making the ecoboost the flagship!

Well, im out. Pay to be able to use the camera that that I bought. Makes no sense, dont need a cell tower or wifi to use them. Whats next pay extra for the engine to start. Was waiting on 2024 king ranch, but now will be giving GMC a look. Thanks for the info.

Town and Country Ford in Bessemer, AL is selling ordered F150's for just invoice cost (not +$500). Granger Ford in Granger, IA is 4% under invoice. Jorge, you are doing good but a quick internet search will yield slightly better results (and they will ship too if someone can't get to that part of the country either). Also, you mention that you don't like that Ford is asking its customers to subscribe to something but @11:37 you ask everyone watching the video to subscribe to get your "amazing" deal of invoice +$500. Hmmm.

The charge is for those that did not order this option allowing someone to activate it later on if they regret not ordering it. If you order a 360 camera on your vehicle you won't have to pay an extra premium
