The top amateur boxers from across the United States and as far away as Hawaii will converge on Detroit May 13-18 to face off in a prestigious and high intensity week-long boxing tournament at Huntington Place. Metro Detroit Golden Gloves and the Downtown Boxing Gym (DBG) are proud to host the 2024 National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions. The tournament returns to Detroit for the first time since 2000 and coincides with the 90th anniversary of Metro Detroit Golden Gloves.
More than 300 boxers in 20 weight classes will compete for the title of National Golden Gloves Champion and will be joined by approximately 250 coaches and 75 officials. Male and female athletes ages of 18-42 will represent 30 Golden Gloves franchises from across the country. Huntington Place will be transformed into a boxing arena featuring 4 rings that will host more than 200 bouts over the six days of the tournament.
Tickets for the 2024 National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions will be $25 per person Monday - Friday ($5 per child ages 5-12; children under 5 get in free); $30 per person on Saturday; $60 per person for VIP seating and $300 for VIP tables of six.
