Beginning in 2023, the Dolphinfish Research Program, with funding from the Guy Harvey Foundation and additional sponsors of the Beyond Our Shores Foundation, expanded research in the Eastern Tropical Pacific Ocean (ETP) to Guatemala. Recently, personnel from BOSF returned to Casa Vieja Lodge to deploy 6 satellite tags as well as outfit the CVL fleet with conventional tagging supplies for dorado. In total, over four days of fishing, 62 dorado were tagged and released. In addition, six dorado were tagged and released with PSATs. This video provides an overview of those deployments and the data being collected.
