I love the Sport and Sport/Touring Hatchback, especially in Boost Blue Pearl with Sonic Grey Pearl my second choice, snd my favorite colors with the rare mauve color on the Sport Touring Hatchback, I forgot the actual color name. The Sport is great for all the equipment for the price, with all of the sporty performance oriented black trim and all the functional basics, like manual adjust seats and no sunroof. The black exterior emblems should come included on the Sport trims. The dashboard snd infotainment displays are sharp snd have all the great functions, except the temperature gauge with lots of viewers were complaining about, because we want to know if the car is beginning to overheat, instead of getting a last minute notification when it already is. It's great tgat many manufacturers are offering accessory rear seatbsck protectors to go along with the trunk/hatch and floor weather mats. The absence of the rear center armrest/cupholders snd USB ports is understandable, to keep cost at a certain point for all the other things it has wirh all the 11th generation upgrades and updates from the previous versions. I hardly have rear passengers snd can keep a portable powerbsnk snd USB cables in the center console storage fir that if needed. The lack of a map storage pocket behind the driver's/left front seat on many cars is s big irk for us OCD peeps, but there's nice, affordable black nylon storage caddies online that I can get to hang behind the front seats, since I tend to keep miscellaneous items handy. Another thing I realize is that vehicles without gloss black or chrome door pillar pedals, that jave flat black painted panels instead will tend to wear down from continuous finger/hand contact over time, despite how muchbyou polish or clean them, and the paint wears off. I will probably have my next car done with the clear plastic that is often used at the front of the vehicle to protect the paint from bugs and rocks, etc., when I have my windows tinted. The Sport's N/A 2.0 engine is reliable, durable, dependable, with longevity, though many complain about not enough power. I believe they equate lack of power with acceleration. It's vdecent, but put in the LX, Sport and HR-V for a specific reason and price point. The 1.5L turbo is still a good engine if you maintain properly and don't abuse it, but it's a given the longevity, reliability, dependability, durability and reliability is not as great. When you go upscale, like the Sport Touring Hatchback. But, you expect that for all the upgrades and more fancier tech like the full digital dashboard and upgraded infotainment, and things like the sunroof and power adjust seats. For $300 you can get the K Tuner flah upgrade, or the plug and play Pedal Commander, the latter I intend to get to increase throttle response. But the plus us you have so many optiond and prices. Also, OEM accessories, and aftermarket items you can customize and modify to your content gradually, when you can afford them. I have a whole list of things to get for whatever I choose. Somevitemscare fir any vrhicle and others for a specific model. I was going to get one just like this, as I love the color and the no nonsense black trim like I had on my 1984 Buick Grand National. A neighbor close by recrntly got a Sonic Grey Pearl Civic Sport Hatchback that parks a short distance away. But, I decided to get an Urban Grey Pearl FWD HR-V Sport, as it is more practical for what I need, unless I can spring for and decide to get a Boost Blue Pearl Civic Sport Touring Hatchback, mostly for the Bose Stereo, so I don't have to upgrade the smo and speakers to my favorite brand. The perks of the HR-V Sport over the Civic Sport Hatchback is no auto start/stop, though I eould drive in Sport mode most of the time, leatherette door sbd crnter console storage armrests, exterior mirror turn signal indicator lights, blind spot/rear cross traffic monitoring, two LED rear hatch lights, and full LED reat tirn signal and reverse lights. LasFit has replacement bulbs for the Civic, including rear license plate bulbs. I wish I could have the HR-V Sport and either hatchback, but if I need, and can afford a second vehicle, I will probably get the Sport Touring Hatchback, dince I already would have the HR-V Sport with the N/A 2.0L engine.

No power seats or fog lamps are a downer for this trim level. Yet for under $30,000 it is an exceptional value for a commuter car. No CVT for me I will learn to drive a MT again We had a 1978 Honda in Michigan, we were brave enough to drive it around the Detroit area. People did not like us.

Sport with 2.0 is def the way to go to save some $ and have a longer lasting car without the turbo troubles.

How can I unlock and open back trunk during engine is on? Any trunk latch I can use inside the car? I do not want to turn engine off then open trunk
