Well guys this bike exceeded all my expectations by a mile! This was my first ride on this beautiful bike, I now have a whopping 1.5 hrs and can’t wait till the next ride!

I told you so!! Glad to hear that you loved it but you will love it so much more on more technical stuff. If you ever get back to Highland Park you will be amazed at the contrast between this bike and the 4T. Convert the FX to a DS bike. It's still fantastic on the faster flowy stuff.

I have to admit that I love you loving the two stroke. Especially since I know I love mine.

I always liked my 2 stroke over the 4 strokes I had. I have downshifted to DS and am happy with my DR650 couch. :) I moved to North Carolina last fall and there ain't much dirt road riding around here from what i can tell. But we will see this summer when i get a chance to explore more. Enjoy the lack of engine-brakeing and ease of riding. 3rd n 4th all day long.

2 strokes are definitely great trail/off road bikes. Last year I bought a 250 4 stroke wanting something new and different, I struggled on the new bike. Engine braking on the 4 stroke changed the way I had to approach corners took almost all year to figure it out. I probably dumped the bike more this year than the previous 10 years on my 2 stroke. Enjoy the bike but the 2 stroke is definitely easier to go fast on the trail, even though my riding partners say I'm just as fast on the new bike but it doesn't feel like it.

Probably only need the correct springs and oil height adjustment. Valving is fine for your speed it appears.

These new 2T 300's really are cheat bikes, so easy to manage and docile yet at the same time wild and power for days when you want or need it.

I wonder how the rekluse clutch would be on my 200. I've been wanting one for a long time. And now with my body where i had to get my right hip replaced, my left hip twice because of infection, my left shoulder once, and then my right shoulder once. These replacements were all completed within an 11 month time period at University of Michigan.

New bikes are so much fun. Give the suspension at least 5 hours to break in good and the engine will only get better to the 10 hr mark. Have fun!

I love my tx300 but have thought I’d like an fx for more open flow and the 300 for gnarly stuff which is what I do mostly. My understanding is the four stroke will feel more stable at speed like in the Woops although I’ve only had limited experience on to be honest.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the 300 man! Where are you thinking about sending your suspension to? I've resprung my 500 but have always been curious is valving was worth the money for my skill level or not. That looks like a fun little area to ride!

What do you mean by your sending the suspension in? In that so someone customizes it to you? If so how is that done?

250 fx is ok. 🤷‍♂️. TE300 is just soooo different. There’s really no comparison. What an epic purchase. I’m happy for u! I’m getting a 24 TE 300 in a couple weeks. I sold my 21 te 300 last yr like a dumbass. FX is such a reliable bulletproof bike. I miss that bike too. I bought a 390 beta which is my fav 4stroke hands down. U are gunna fall in love with the 300 Cheers!!

What kind of computer/laptop do you use to edit your videos? What minumum specs would you say you need to edit? Ive got a hp pavillion 360 with an i5 and it just seems to constantly freeze up when i try to edit.

I wanted to buy a 2024 husky but the 23 ktm and husky tbi's had so many plug fouling issues I decided to go with one of the still available carb bikes. I hated when my friends had their bikes strand them in the mountains constantly from fouled plugs.
