I imported the EU Kona N forged rims, Love them, suck we got diff rims but US rims still look nice. I like the new look although I'm not the market for it, I prefer hatchbacks or lean more towards something like the BMW M2 Comp if I couldn't get a hatchback. Looks like a great ride.

Most of the differences you're feeling are in the lighter forged wheels. Did you drive the 2023 and 2024 back to back or have you come out of a hatch beforehand or something because the pre face lift sedan n is very soft in suspension and completely livable

@rover1374
@rover1374 4 ай бұрын
@@mharro88 The sedan is definitely more premium inside, I have no issues living with the hatch though day to day. I personally prefer the hatch wheels, hatch full sizes sunroof, light bucket seats, smaller car and resale value of the hatch. Each to their own! The only thing that would sway me is if driving dynamics were that much better.
@mharro88
@mharro88 4 ай бұрын
@@rover1374 the hatch wheels are the same as this ... Just gray not black. Bucket seats are uncomfortable. The dynamics actually are that much better. It's a newer lighter superior platform. More tail happy and compliant suspension. Even the steering is more direct with better feel.
@rover1374
@rover1374 4 ай бұрын
@@mharro88 I prefer the grey wheels on the hatch compared to the black. The black are certainly better than the old sedan and still nice. I love the seats, to me they are comfortable and I love the bolstering they provide. I didn’t buy this car to be comfortable. I have a bucket seat for my sim rig and I’d choose them every time. I’ll have to watch a few more reviews and maybe test drive one. From what I’ve seen so far not many would be able to pick the driving dynamic differences by feel rather than them being night and day as you say.

@drivingenthusiastaustralia
@drivingenthusiastaustralia 4 ай бұрын
Keep in mind this has 650hp. I double-checked the Vbox results, just in case I made an error. In other modes (without launch control etc), it also ran: 11.74s@197.7km/h 12.14s@189.2km/h So yes, epic top-end speed. Especially for an EV - EVs usually start slowing around the 180km/h mark. 11.55s for 0-200km/h is very impressive. I've timed a stock 2020 R35 GT-R in 10.99s 0-200, 2022 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT in 11.77s, and 2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder in 10.55s. This IONIQ 5 N is bloody quick!
