My SEL FWD is 32 hwy. I’m averaging around 33-35 mpg to and from work. Total of 52 miles round trip at an average of 66 mph. And hills.

I agree, the SEL should come with heated seats standard. Paying an extra $2200 for the convenience package just for me to get that one feature that I want doesn't make sense.

I like the look of the previous generation Kona a bit better in my opinion, but I think Hyundai's new design is really cool and sleek, and that interior looks amazing. Definitely a step up from the old Kona, so kudos to Hyundai for that. But it definitely looks like this Kona is a bit bigger for sure. It looks to offer a little bit more room than the previous Kona, and overall, between this and the smaller Venue, both are honestly good choices for first time city vehicles. Engine is nothing too special, just your typical 2.0L N/A inline 4, but the IVT transmission is perfect. Hyundai's IVT/CVT is one of the best CVTs in my opinion at least.

Thing is, I recieved Lifetime Bluelink with my purchase. Having remote start with climate control makes having heated or ventilated seats not necessary IMHO. And I am one who really doesn't care to have leather seats.

Does that horizontal stripe on the steering wheel bother anyone, or is it just me? Like the Hyundai logo is missing and was replaced by a huge minus symbol.

This is the first time I saw the gear lever in the middle and not beside the steering wheel on a Kona. Why is this one different from others?

Does the basic SEL (NO CONVENIENCE PACKAGE) NOT HAVE CRUISE CONTROL AT ALL???? I get it that you have convenience package for 2200$ more but how can they make an SUV in 2024 with no standard cruise control.

This not like the Tesla! Please understand, the Kona is NOT AUTONOMOUS! The feature shown in the video is a “Driver assistance feature”. Again, NOT AUTONOMOUS!
