I have had mine for about 10months and I love it. I had a dodge 2500 diesel mega-cab lifted and I don't miss it. This thing will haul ass and it will tow my 30ft cigarette boat and pull it out at ramps. You can feel it, some but it has no problem towing it. The only thing I wish is the rear window had a automatic slide button. I had it up in the North Georgia mountains and even some really nasty climbs and it handled it amazing. My buddy had his 4x4 ready to pull me up the slope but my little Santa Cruz climbed right UP!!! Don't be fooled the turbo will get you in trouble quickly and I mean quickly.

Do you think Hyundai has improved their dual clutch transmission from earlier years? Concerned about buying this vehicle with the dual clutch transmission. Are the running boards needed in your opinion for getting in and out of the vehcile?

Don’t think running boards are needed, and I like the dual clutch a lot, but don’t know about improvements in particular.

I have this model Santa Cruz and the running boards definitely aren't needed for getting into the vehicle. But, they are great for using to wash the top of the car and look good too in my opinion. I'm loving it so far!
