what never makes sense is why they don’t lose points for losing control positions. If you get points for getting to side control or mount and then you lose that position, you should lose those points for having terrible control which is more important then the position. You shouldn’t be rewarded for being able to fall or throw yourself into a points position and not be able to progress from there.
