I heard two rumors. 1. Porsche had a recall due to paint so all boxes were opened by Mattel and reinspected. 2. The chase rate was too high when they were shipped internationally

There was a issue with the paint on the yellow Porsche in the exotic envy set and they quarantined most of the cases

I got the M2 sprite Chevy Silverado chase last night at my Walmart and then switched directions this morning and grabbed the coke VW T-100 chase from the same case

@@514_diecast5 at a show over the weekend I have heard they left a letter off of the Goodyear on the door so they pulled the yellow Porsches and did not have enough good ones to put 2 bs k on all the boxes . The same wholesaler was selling case $60 American . The guy next to me bought 2 case and he hit a Chase in one of the boxes and it was the only Porsche in the box !

I heard they were checking the Porsche emblem as this is not licensed. I opened one at Target and it had one Porsche and three Lambos. I was mad....I did however find the chase on peg at a grocery store yesterday.

I saw the same thing with the double tape! I opened 3 boxes at my local Dollarama and I only saw a couple TH. I left them behind. No STH though!🙁 I'm getting discouraged now if Matel is doing some funny buisness or something? Have a great week...

Lots of these exotic envy 2 cases coming like that. Who really knows what the issue was but many have heard it was some quality issue with the Porsche, we will never know
