If power is what you're after in an entry level car that also won't break the bank, the Kia Seltos SX is a ride you should check out. It got a bit of an upgrade for the 2024 model, bringing in a great new digital cluster. It has the same smaller 8" infotainment in the lower trims with a larger 10.25" in the higher trims that you'll find in a number of other Kia vehicles.
The Seltos is a cost effective ride with some great available technology. You'll find it front wheel or all wheel drive with either a 2.0L naturally aspirated or 1.6L turbocharged engine. It's peppy and has more than enough space for 4 adults (5 if they're a bit smaller).
