New update. Per a question on our Part 1... The 2024 XC-W and XCF-W bikes are shipping with competition use only mufflers. These are NOT forest approved with spark arrestors. The little screen you see in the end cap is the resonator, not a spark arrestor. This is verified by the laser etching on the inboard side of the muffler.

@@MrTbone821 no idea, no one has seen one yet in US. The EXC will surely to be CARBB and DOT legal.

Yes. @highlandcycles used one from his XC. We borrowed one here locally. From factory, in mild map, traction off, quickshift off. We took to local dealer to turn on quickshift. We are now in normal (hotter) map, TC off, QS on.

Curious if anyone has been running say an xl80 for a ride on the stock harness? I know you tested the circuit and it runs it however, the xl80 pulls 5.5 amps and that would require 14 awg wire and the stock harness light wiring is not 14…

Just grabbed a 300xcw cannot get a Map or “combination” switch anywhere. They are back ordered till dec is what I hear. I wonder if that’s why they didn’t include them with the bike. Feels shitty for how much it costs to not get one. Also mine came with a skid plate. Why give the 2S a skid and not the 4S. Weird shit man. I put your bomber switch on last week and love it hopefully you guys can get a bomber Map switch made up soon.

So are you unable to run a XL-80 & Racer Edition combo from Desert Unlimited?

If you bypass the OCU and harness to battery, should be good to go

Have you noticed if your bottom oil drain bolt has a small screen? Mine did not have one. Also, any issues with a battery tender cycling your fuel pump once you achieve a full charge? I ran into this with a battery tender jr. 800. I have the KTM tender on order.

Ours did not either! We asked the dealer to confirm when the set up the next bike. We have not had any reason to plug in a battery tender yet.

@@MotoMindedLLCthanks for the quick reply. Did my first oil change today, will call my dealer tomorrow about the screen. The battery tender works just fine on my 2022 300 XCW, but interferes with my new 2024 450 xcf-w.

@@MrTbone821 best practice is to remove the negative off the battery before hooking up any charger.

@@MotoMindedLLC yep, did that. Just received my KTM brand charger today. So far no issues, it is working fine. I also confirmed with my dealer, no small screen for 2024. I ordered one from a 2023 and am contemplating putting it in.

Fan circuit on when bike running, 10 second delay after bike off. Just like 2017-23 bikes
