I own old version found not good for city rides . Low end torque is not that great so installed fuelx pro on it , there is some improvement i felt though not very substantial. Further to this mileage also dropped by 1-2 kms. I used to keep the map selection at 4 or 5 in the city. While riding in highways kept the stock level setting by maintaining at 3. I gelt power is less beyond 105 kmph solo with luggage.Hope the low end torque issue is sorted out in the new variant. Some one can throw some light on the same. The good thing i liked is its stability, handling, decent brakes ( not the rear ones), road presence in highways, longer & wider seats and easiness in carrying luggage ( I am use claw from viaterra for long rides). Negatives- i felt the bike is not that good for city usage due to low end torque, seat height, manoeuvring in city, heating, plenty no: of gear changing required etc. in highways, after consuming 9-10 ltrs, the low fuel warning will keep blinking with that in effect 4-4.5 ltrs will not help in extending the refueling range. Service center guys insist on 95 octane as mentioned in user's manual. So iam also following the same. Hope the above info helps .

Please don't go for adventure 250. Buy a Himalayan..njan 2 Years aayi ADV 250 use cheyunnu, waste bike with 17-20 km mileage in city
